  Rose is probably correct on the per diem rates..and yes, abusing the Govt. Credit card can/will get you in trouble….but, the point is twofold. #1) Government is WAY to big, #2) they can cut cost’s by either conferencing close to home or use the freakin digital age technology….but as many of us know, you can’t have a budget un-spent before the end of the fiscal year, or you wont get as much next year.
  …government needs a “cost-savings” bonus program….research, prove that you (govt) employee can effectively save resources or money then they get a portion of the savings….
