CBS‘s ’The Good Wife’ Features Quirky Judge Praising Occupy Wall Street: ‘I Salute Them’
February 20, 2012 at 10:31pm
Ok. Here’s a different interpretation.
Not a show I watch, but some here describe the character as a bit of a leftist crank, that the dialogue wasn’t congruous to the plot and seems to have been wedged into the script as last minute political messaging dropped in after pre-production (some television scripts take up to a year to go through development). If true, it might be that direction for the character’s nazi salute was wedged in there as well, perhaps not even by the same folks doing the re-write.
The subliminal message of this being, if this be the correct interpretation,… that the Occupy movement, which on the surface is being lauded, are in truth being referenced (by someone along the television show’s production staff, perhaps snuck past others on the same staff – or higher on the food chain, at the executive level) as today’s modern equivalent of the Brownshirts, fully deserving of a Roman Salute (the Roman Salute is that which the Nazi’s imitated – they didn’t invent it).
‘Clearly Failing’: Santorum, Paul, Bachmann React to Shocking GBTV Border Security Report
February 9, 2012 at 2:22pm
To deal with some of the issues regarding GBTV’s random freezes and spinning reload pages, I’ll keep the Windows Task Manager active so I can track memory usage. Freezes and such can often be unstuck be grabbing the slider and moving it forwards or back some (then back to find your place) or, for a more radical solution, clicking the title bar and hitting F5 to refresh the page (be careful to remember where you were in the program in either case). If done more than a few times, you might find the nextdef process taking up more memory. This also happens when you pause or skip around a lot. Ending the nextdef process and restarting it (in the startup folder on my comp), and/or restarting firefox (task switching to the program while working on other things or loading up a bunch of tabs in the main window can cause firefox to bloat as well and interfere with the feed) gets me through most programs without much aggravation.
@Thatsitivehadenough – You CAN lower the quality of the resolution – Video quality control on the bottom of the GBTV daughter page – or for even less bandwidth, use mini view.
Ex-Aide to Ron Paul Makes Stunning Claims About Old Boss: Anti-Israel, 9/11 Truther, Doesn’t Believe U.S. Had Any Business Fighting Hitler

FDR knew about Pearl Harbor (in the general sense) even before the Japanese did, for his policies were directly contradictory and antagonistic towards Japanese militarism in China – the policies he enacted to stop their war machine or interfere with their operations left the Japanese little choice but the dualistic option to attack us or abjectly back down (which wasn’t going to happen). Not a “conspiracy theory,” that’s how we got ourselves into WWII.

The article specifically mentions the Hutchison debacle, but everybody knows that. The emphasis of the article is instead on what lies behind a long-standing feud that goes back further than 2010.
Pay little attention to the commentary section; there’s an assortment of trolls from every political spectrum intent to lead discussions into irrelevancy.

I buy Rollins’ stepping down for health reasons. In consideration that Rollins’ is still associated with the campaign, and that David Polyansky’s website has complimentary things to say about him (and may be associated with him professionally) I take from the his departure as deputy campaign manager either a lack of confidence in his ability to take over the reigns or an unwillingness to work directly for someone other than Rollins himself. The story of infighting and campaign defections falls flat.
Colorado Elementary School Under Fire After Saudi Flag Raised Above American Flag

Symbology of failed multicultural idealism at its finest. In such an environment, the United States flag ought to be the only flag to represent all the students – as it is the flag of that country to which their parents repaired when they wished for them and their children to live prosperous and free.
