  “I (DO) mean . . . disrespect toward the police department!” Have law enforcement officers become nothing more than mindless automatons, cyborgs, incapable of any level of rational thought who mechanically reach for a ticket book? Rolling a bowling ball. . .and I mean NO disrespect to bowlers. . . would obviously be beyond the intellectual level of this cop. “The humanity!” Obviously it no longer takes any to be a cop – - – simply a ticket book, a pencil, remedial language skills and a desire to generate revenue (I assume to eventually be used to pay their salaries, medical insurance, pension plans and retirements.) “To Serve (Whom?) and (Dis-)Respect Everyone Other Than A Brother Cop.” This would be a more apt motto for today’s law enforcement officer. I will however give this officer credit for not arresting the invalid for vagrancy. Cleveland, what a mean spirited city! I used to call it home.

  Regrettably this wonderful father, who had everything well in hand, made the mistake of acting upon that once-true-belief that when trouble happens call the “authorities.” Those days, friends, are pretty much gone. These same automatons, the kind of men who were in New Orleans, following Katrina and illegally searched homes and confiscated firearms from law abiding Citizens will, if so ordered, kick in your front and back doors simply because they have been told to do so. Yes, law enforcement today may still follow the old creed of “To Protect & Serve,” but that only applies to their jobs, their families, their medical benefits, their pension plans, their retirements, their sense of betterment and their commonly held belief that they are your “controllers;” if you’re not cop, you’re little people. So if the dung ever does hit the fan, you had better live quietly, head down, by your own wits and not count on them doing the right thing . . . something simple like upholding the Constitution of the United States of America.

  The typical Leftist is a brain dead individual incapable of anything nearing rational thought; consequently, since they can not think, but only feel, they fill their minds with the pablum of their “noted thinkers;” operating on a purely emotional level. So it all comes down to FEELINGS, and when challenged to engage an idea and to think, they are dumbfounded into inaction, or revert to tired jargon and slogans. They are mostly nothing more than idiot foot soldier-agitators capable of only regurgitating the mindless rantings of others. In other words they are simply ignorant zombies posing as human beings looking for a powerful leader to control their lives . . . they are candidates for slavery.

  Because I simply don’t know, can anyone clarify who actually owns Georgetown, the educational institution, its facilities and grounds, etc., and when one is hired by Georgetown, for whom are you working? If this is truly a Catholic university, owned and operated by the Church, why don’t they just clean house and purge the unbelieving elements within the Institution and replace them with Believers, even though it would be a costly and lengthy (legal) battle? I guess this is where “tenure” gets you once the devil has walked through the door … or you’ve invited him in, in the name of tolerance, political correctness or some other Humanistic insanity. You just can’t get him to leave without some serious prodding. However, I believe this would be a battle worth the waging.

  You‘re close but you don’t have it quite right. I think the Commissioner should recruit those “Environmental Nazis” that closed down that ice cream shop in Mass., to protect the patrons, to protect the wooden baseball bats. Were they not living beings. The trees. After all the players don’t need protecting, they can care for themselves. Who’s to know whether these bats are conscious beings or not and whether pain is being inflicted upon them. If we don’t know we must er on the safe side. I say no more wooden bats or fines will follow. Also, were not the hides on the baseballs previously living tissue. Is it not possible that they may have residual sensitivity to being swatted by a wooden bat. I say no hide covered balls. Left them throw stones.

  The “Great Divide.” Eternity will take note of where you stand on these moral issues. This IS NOT an issue about love, but of acquiescence in the face of sin. Fool yourself into believing that you are “loving” your fellow man/woman, by condoning homosexuality and same sex marriage and you are damning yourself into league with all that is anti-Christ. True love is exhibited in attempting to change sinful behavior, not in accepting it.

  I am no lawyer, thank The Lord, but is this not a violations of the Interstate Commerce Act, since the corporate headquarters for the soft drink companies are most likely out of state; even though they may be locally canned? I would think that Coke and Pepsi would join forces and fight this interference into their businesses. After all, I don’t recall hearing of the passage of a “Volstead Act” on soft drinks.

  What, in the wide world of mad bureaucrats, is an Environmental Police officer, and why are these nutters armed with anything more than a clipboard and pencil? I want to know who is going protect the people of Mass. from Edward Lambert, commissioner of the Department of Conservation and Recreation, and his squads of armed tree huggers. If this was a code violation, its a civil matter, not criminal, so why the strong armed tactics. Call these guys whatever you want. They are nothing more than reconstituted “Brown Shirts.”
