  Not much more to add to this conversation that hasn’t already been said. I did my 20 years as a Scout and retired in ‘08. The last 8 years of which were pretty much spent at war. Many of the men I served with at that time are now out. These guys were all young and had a long way to go before retirement. What this retirement change will do will hollow out our military at the mid to senior levels, Especially in the Army and Marines who do the majority of ground fighting. A 20 year military career is not easy at peace and even harder at war. And lets not forget that I can be called back to active duty if Uncle Sam needs me until I’m dead.

  Not a tank. Tanks have tracks and a large turret mounted cannon. That vehicke is a Russian troop carrier in the BTR family of vehicles. Probably a BTR 70 or 80.

  OMG, hater alert!!!….I’m a Federal worker and maybe our firing numbers are lower because for the most part the workers ARE better. Many workers are retired Vets or military affiliated who are already, for the most part, very disclipine and have excellent work ethics. Many require security clearances that your average joe can’t qualify for. Many require drug testing. Many have degrees. So please, stop all the hating on us people that actually serve our country.

  I 100% agree Freedom. Do not let the Government scare you, as a parent, on how to discipine your child and never let a pin-head child psychologist or teacher tell you to drug your child. All children need love, discipline and attention from their parents and the rest pretty much falls into place. Government and child psychologist have definitely made a mess of Americas children.
