  • Regan lowered taxes and cut spending. Lowering taxes and cutting spending allowed the economy to expand, which caused an increase in tax revenues. Democrats in congress used that to justify more spending.

  • And yet after Obama’s win, Newsweek proclaimed that we are all socialists now. Liberal media bias at play again? Sure looks like it. Perry should have also commented “and Newsweek agrees.” That would have ensured his quote never spread across the wire.

  • Now I wish that McCain had endorsed Santorum.

  • Forget the picture. What in the world is happening allowing this student to graduate from high school when she does not even know what the First Amendment to the constitution grants her? She thinks that her free speech is being violated when others are paying the bill to publish her photo. Her teachers have a lot to answer for seeing how she has made it to her senior year. Oh, that’s right. I’m living in the dumbed down U.S. of the 21st century. And these 18 year olds have voting rights. God, help us.

  • Ah, again I am reminded of my youth when I first studied the communist manifesto pamphlet written by Karl Marx and shot his theories full of holes like Swiss cheese. Are these armchair intellectuals so unenlightened that they refuse to accept what freedom really means, along with its imperfections, are they just blinded by their arrogance, or are they just corrupt and looking to get their hands deeper into the cookie jar of the tax payers? Personally, the hypocrocritical thinking coming from the left is, In my opinion, based upon an intellectual arrogance of self adulation that they truly believe that they can make things better, even when it is plainly obvious to rational thinkers that they are only going to make things worse. Common sense and reality just seem to ellude the far left when the realities of American greatness are staring them right in their face and the horrors of what they advocate have been done before, reflecting off them like a giant red warning sign.

  • Well, we know none of them will be getting hired at JP Morgan. If they keep it up, those who graduate Princeton might not be so proud to put that on their next job application form. Then they’ll complain about being unemployed, and how they’re too good to work flipping burgers. Maybe they can just work on their PhDs and then they can rant and rave all day long. Or go work for government and force banks to give out easy loans to poor people who can’t possibly afford to pay the banks back.

  • Adam Carolla has hit the nail on the head with his assessment. This next generation of self-entitled youth has been indoctrinated by the left in public schools, and spurred on by a certain portion of parents to behave this way. It‘s scary to think that this is America’s future. It isn‘t going to end pretty unless they grow up and free their mind from the garbage that’s been rammed in their empty heads. I do have faith though. Some of the most far reaching liberals started out just like this, and have ended up becoming staunch conservatives once they grew up and matured. To change their ways of thinking, it’s all going to have to start at home. In general, if they as America‘s future don’t come to their senses soon enough, they‘re going to be in for a rude awakening when they’re left with a country of oppression and nothingness.

  • Instead of giving away more of his money to the government for wasteful spending, why doesn’t Buffett just increase the salaries of his own employees?

  • I just wrote a letter to Levis, and encourage others who feel as I do to do the same. Here is the link to contact Levis and let them know how you feel. Included below are my thoughts that I addressed to them about their company.

Never again, Levis will you get any of my money. I do not purchase products the promote socialist Marxist revolution. After viewing your latest advertisement promoting social unrest (which has been banned in the UK), violence, molotov cocktails, and communist red flags, my entire family unanimously has voted to never buy any of your products ever again, and will actively encourage other freedom loving Americans who believe in free trade and capitalism to stop buying your products as well. That’s capitalism at work, and your company should no longer depend on capitalism to fund your worker revolution. Your company would never exist without capitalism. Your workers would not have jobs without capitalism. Does your economic plan for the future include giving away high end 200 dollar jeans to every man, woman, and child on Earth for free? I, and my family, will buy all of our jeans, which include high end jeans and middle of the road priced jeans, as well as low end jeans, from other companies from now on.

  • Matt Damon is an idiot. He states that people making over 5 million dollars should be taxed 50 percent. Who the heck does he think he is? It’s not his money. What kind of motivation is there for anyone who wants to be an entrepreneur if you’re knowing that half the money you make for something you created is going to be taken from you, and you have no control over how that profit is used, say for something like expanding a business, hiring people, providing benefits, further investment which increases the growth of a healthy economy, etc. He says he knows of no one that created a job with the Bush tax cuts. Maybe it‘s because he’s too busy hanging around with socialists and communists who don’t contribute to investment in the economy. The more money a person has, the more money they have to spend, whether it’s purchasing power or in investment. The point is the government has proven itself to be wasteful, and it is better to keep the government’s greedy hands off citizens money, and keep more of that money in the private sector. Government consumes, private industry grows and creates. The small business owners, those making over 250,000 a year are being strangled by the current administration’s economic policies. They’re not growing their businesses because of Obamacare and because they believe government is going to take more of their money.

Movie goers created a job for Matt Damon. As a consumer, I choose not to contribute to Matt Damon’s earnings by boycotting
