  I live in Lincoln, NE. I am quite familiar with the area. Aurora is a small farming community with a strong history of excelling in athletics. This is not the mindset of the strong majority of this community or most Nebraskans. These parents are obviously selfish gold diggers and looking for cash in any way they can (a settlement, hey about a book deal or maybe a movie) at the expense of their beautiful daughter. I grew up w/a a man that was born with no arms. I use to watch him in amazement and speak w/ him whenever I saw him. He could smoke a typewriter, drive a car (specially designed) and drink beer in the local bar. He never asked any one for special assistance or acted like any one owed him. He was married and had children. He worked for the county w/ my mother and was a respected member of the community. He told me once his parents treated him like a child w/out disabilities and refused to coddle him even as a young child. I also played Legion Baseball against a one armed first baseman. OMG it was pure poetry watching him field or catch a ball flip his glove & ball in the air, catch the ball and make the play. He also smacked the crap out of the ball when batting. I am sure many of us have had similar experiences to some degree or another so you can relate.These are the people that make this country exceptional. Oh I forgot, I’m missing my rt ring finger. Thanks Mr. P (typing teacher) for not letting me quit. The parents & the system are traumatizing her

  That little jerk just learned there are consequences for your actions. Period. I can tell you from my own experiences as a larger athlete, some of your most prominent bullies are smaller. If they don’t learn lessons at a younger age, they grow into Rahm Emanuels, Harry Reids, Obamas, Shelia Jackson Lees, Hillarys etc. Time will tell how both of these kids will turn out as adults.
