Rep. Todd Akin Refuses to Apologize for Saying: ‘At the Heart of Liberalism…Is a Hatred For God’
July 3, 2011 at 10:38pm
JJ COOLAY-your another typical lunatic on this website!!! You have no idea what Planned Parenthood does. Only 3% is devoted to abortion services, a right protected by the US Constitution!
The rest of the things these wonderful people do is provide breast screenings, and other medical services for women, especially poor women! Why don’t you go back and finish your high school education so you can debate me! OK you moron!!!
Rep. Todd Akin Refuses to Apologize for Saying: ‘At the Heart of Liberalism…Is a Hatred For God’
July 3, 2011 at 10:08pm
We liberals would rather keep God and religion out of politcs! I am a firm agnostic and Socialist that has seen first hand, what religious extremism can do if it gets in a position of authority!!! I wish the United States was like Canada or western Europe, and not so damn preoccupied with God and the Bible! How silly!!!
Bill Clinton: ‘I Like Huntsman and Romney’
July 3, 2011 at 9:58pm
You lunatics may hate Clinton, but you can’t argue the fact that he created over 23,000,000 jobs and left the country in far better shape when he left-record surpluses and getting rid of the national debt!!!
I to, had a problem with his lapse in moral judgement, but that had nothing to do with his success in offfice. When I think what the conservatives did to this country since he left office, I wish he could have ran for office again! He was and is a great statesmen and we should be so proud of his accomplishments and his work to alleviate hunger and AIDS in the world!!! Whats Bush doing since he left office? Thats right-he’s fishing and sleeping in late, enjoying the good life!!! What a joke!!!
Bill Clinton: ‘I Like Huntsman and Romney’
July 3, 2011 at 9:52pm
LYLEJK-do you really know what a moderate Republican is? Obviously not! Romney and Huntsmen are very conservative! At one time, Romney believed in woman’s right to an abortion and gay rights-when he ran against Ted Kennedy. He has since renounced these positions in order to get the GOP nomination. Huntsmen is from Utah and has always been conservative. You can’t be a moderate Republican and get elected in Utah-thats a fact! Practically all elected moderates have been purged-
leaving only the 2 Maine Senators, and none in the House Republican caucus!!! The GOP is so extremist that Ronald Reagan would not get nominated in a GOP primary!!!!
Bill Clinton: ‘I Like Huntsman and Romney’
July 3, 2011 at 9:44pm
As a Social Democrat, I hope that the GOP will be foolish enough to nominate, Bachman! Obama would ridicule her in the debates because of the outrageous crap she’s said in the past 2 years. In fact, there are no Republican candidates that are strong enough to take on Obama!!! This is by far the weakest field of GOP candidates in decades-and I LOVE IT!!! All of them have so much baggage and are so extreme in their views!!! Thats the problem with conservative Republicans: they have to say all these reckless and lunatic ideas to get nominated and then have to go into the general election, having alot to explain and defend!!!! Plays right into the hands of Obama!
Dodgers and Angels to Honor Reagan During July 4 Home Games
July 3, 2011 at 9:31pm
I am somewhat surprised that Ronald Reagan is being honored by all these Republicans. Its interest-
ing that today’s GOP has become so extreme since Reagan left office in 1985. I seriously doubt, if Reagan was alive today and ran in the Republican primary, he would be trounced, for being too liberal!
Reagan expanded welfare while governor, increased taxes 11 times while President, and saw abortion cases going up dramatically while governor. All these facts, I greatly applaud, being a Socialist. Reagan would also be highly criticized for having the audacity to compromise with that evil communist-Tip O’Neil of Massachusetts, the Speaker of the House, while President. Todays Republican Party has no statesmen nor anyone in Congress that wants to solve America’s problems!
Huntsman: Religion Will Not, and Should Not, Be a Concern for Voters in This Race
July 3, 2011 at 9:18pm
What a waste of time bring God and religion into American politics! Please leave your religion at the back door of your church and don’t waste our time bringing God into politcs! I am a proud Socialist and am so tired of lunatics on the extreme right, which is the entire Republican Party, keeping mixing politcs with religion. Religion breeds intolerance and hate towards minority groups and anybody they disagree with… The religious nuts should spend about 1 week in Iran to see what life would be like living amongst religious extremism!!! I want know part of that! I’d rather live in Scandinavia then the Middle East.
MN Governor Says the Rich in His State Should Pay New Taxes Because ‘I Know People Can Afford It’
July 3, 2011 at 9:01pm
FASTFWD-Your a pathetic lunatic like most of the rest of these nutcases on this fascist website!
I really enjoy reading all these lunatic, rightwing, crap!!! Obviously, you have little formal education and probably live in a trailer park in Mississippi!
MN Governor Says the Rich in His State Should Pay New Taxes Because ‘I Know People Can Afford It’
July 3, 2011 at 8:54pm
I totally applaud the Minnesota governor for wanting to do the right thing by taxing the wealthiest taxpayers!!! The wealthy have done extremely well under George Bush & Obama! Always keep in mind, that a majority of wealthy Americans, are wealthy due to the huge taxcuts and loopholes and from inheritance!!! “Shared sacrifice”, means that EVERYONE should step up to the plate and do their fair share to close the budgets gaps in the states as well as the Federal Government!!! Republicans feel that only the middle class and working poor should be required to close the deficits not the rich! I am a proud Socialist and I feel strongly that the wealthy have ripped off the free enterprise system long enough!!! We believe that the government has a significant part to play to make sure the most vulnerable in society is justly protected-not exploited by Corporations and the Military Industrial Complex!!!
Thousands of Protesters Turn Up the Heat on Georgia Immigration Law
July 2, 2011 at 4:12pm
I am a member of the Democratic Progressives but I have been conflicted over immigration issues! I don’t condone illegal behavior and that those who play by the rules, should be rewarded. I think that if illegal immigrants would work the crops in Georgia and elsewhere, and pay a fine, I would be in favor of extending to them citizenship. Lets face facts: most Americans are unwilling to work in the hot humid field, breaking their backs picking fruits or whatever, for minimum wage. We need these immigrants to do this work in order to keep America fed!!! I’m afraid we need them more than they need us!!!!
