  • I’m a member of the million miles club and agree 100% with those against this mandate. Take a look @Scottscobig’s link. There are 43,000 total traffic fatalities per year. 6450 or 15% are pedestrian related. 3827 or less than 9% involve a commercial vehicle. Here’s the crazy part, 3062 or 80% of these are caused by the 4 wheeler! Finally the issue this regulation looks to address… 153 of the 43,000 traffic deaths per year are commercial driver fatigue related.
So question is what is the real “driving” force behind these regulations? Walmart? Progressive Insurance? Government Regulators? Where are the 2010 tea party congressmen on this issue? Where are the Libertarians!

  • We need to remind ourselves that the key battle in the primary is to wrestle control of the party from the establishment. I define the establishment as those washingtom elites who have from the beginning come out in support of Romney. Thus anyone but Romney should be our goal. Supporters of Newt, Santorum and Paul at some point need to look at the polls and start voting with that end in mind. I really like Paul’s message and it is where we need to be ultimately, However voting for him this time around is not going to change the elites grip on the party.

We are now at a tactical phase of the primary.

  • Ratcraft- While I believe Glenn is selective in what conspiracies he reports on (2 planes took down 3 buildings on 911 in free fall, Really???) He is doing a tremendous service to the country in what he does get out there. At least somebody in semi-main stream is pushing the envelope.

  • So what did Rick Santorum have to say? If he’s going to be the next frontrunner he better get a hold of this stuff asap!

  • Unfortunately Glenn is too willing to propagate theories of doom without “questioning with boldness” the rest of the story as he preaches.
To expose the extent of this global plan while at the same time ignore the anomalies of 911 raises flags for me in that he is selective in his conspiracy theories.
To ignore the fiction that 2 planes took down THREE MASSIVE buildings (remember building 7) in free fall demolition while at the same time scaring people about WW3 and the caliphate is dishonest at best.
We are going to have another 911 type event which will enable these elites to clamp down on us and implement their new financial order. It will be blamed on Iran. However it will be too late for any of us to argue about it given the loss of freedom that will occur.
Folks, Glenn and the Iranian dictators are two sides of the same dialectic coin. It’s not too late but we must begin now to correlate the events of 911, the patriot act, TSA, and the latest defense authorization act allowing the arrest of any citizen for any reason as all being the same plan.
The biggest obstacle for “conservative” citizens is they have been inoculated by phrases like “Bush did it” or “Inside job” thus making it impossible for them to “Question with boldness” because that’s “Crazy”. Really?

  • Alan West should be on Republican ticket. That kind of confrontation of the left is exactly what this nation needs. What a breath of fresh air!

  • Herman Cain Endorses Newt Gingrich

    In reply to momproud.

I think Glenn should be proud at the number of BeckBots he has on board for Santorum and against Newt. You folks need to start thinking for yourselves. Amazing how Glenn always says do your own homework etc etc.. but unless you come to the same conclusions he does your an idiot.
One thing people on this board need to recognize is the Washington Elite Establishment RINO’S are doing EVERYTHING they can to stop Newt. That in itself must be an alarm you need to wake up to. Rick is not taking hits from them maybe because he’s not in contention. But what do you think would happen if he was?
Sarah and Herman are right. They are honorable people but they see something a bit deeper than the cheerleading that goes on here.

  • Obviously the more the establishment dumps on Newt the more the base will vote for him as a protest at a minimum. They just don’t get it, we will not accept another moderate and it’s driving them crazy!

  • Just read through the Exit polls and the thing that stuck out the most was the Male/Female split. Gingrich and Paul pulled more of the Male vote while Romney and Santorum pulled the Female.

After doing a little math it was also interesting to see Newt’s gap was positive 17,000 men while Santorum’s gap was Positive 16,000 women.

So either Newt has a woman problem or Santorum has a Men problem.

My opinion is the latter. Rick is a bit too emotional and the men don’t like that in a candidate. The women just need to realize that what Newt did 15 years ago is irrelevant.

If Newt can get the women issue resolved and open up to some of Ron Paul’s issues he will be the nominee.

  • Santorum’s Emotional Response not Presidential
Remember when Paul called Bachman’s position Drama. Same thing last night with Santorum.
RP could have easily said “Young man your quite sensitive” I wasn’t even talking about you. Too Funny!!
Santorum is concerned about Newt’s stability, Romney‘s Flip flopping and Paul’s Libertarianism but he comes across as the most PARANOID. Maybe that is the reason he is most likely to bomb Iran. I can’t see him thinking through tough issues before making a decision. He reacts too emotionally. Paul did a great service to us all last night in highlighting it.
