Well, wouldn’t the owners of ground zero have the right to build new office buildings on their own property? Apparently no. It is now and forever a memorial. So, were their rights infringed upon at that point? Some people felt it was appropriate not to build there in memory of all of the victims. No argument there. So, why can’t the same be done to the mosque site? The news showed Islamic people around the world cheering when the towers went down. Are we that politically correct that we can’t just say “no” we don’t want a mosque that close to a place that was devastated and cheered on by millions of Islamic people?
I understand that as long as building codes allow, and all the rules are followed, that they can build a mosque. But sometimes, can’t we just say no and not feel badly about it?

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” I remember somebody saying that. Pretty famous guy I think. He may have had something to do with the Bible? Main character? Author?
Obamacare U-Turn

He is going to get reelected here again. Oregon is run by the libs on the west side of the mountains, and all of us to the east have to live with the useless decisions and bad judgment. I’ve always said that they will elect a monkey wearing a diaper as long as it has a D next to its name. And to make matters worse, we will probably get Kitzhaber back again as Governor. Couldn’t get enough of him the first time.
