  • We personally saw the poop on the slide at a McDonalds play area once. So upsetting as parents. We just can’t bring ourselves to go back. I don’t know how long it was there, or how well it was cleaned up, I can’t go back.

No, it would not be freedom of speech to burn somebody else’s flag. You would have to buy the flag from him first, or buy your own, then burn it. If you burn somebody else’s flag, that would constitute theft, vandalism, and a violation of their Constitutional Rights to Free Speech. I share your anger over this flag, but let’s calm down and not become a mob that denys Constitutional Rights to others while claiming to be defending the USA.

  • I hate this flag, but the owner has a right to own it. You have no right to burn it if you don’t own it. You have the right to protest in front of their house. If there is an HOA, you can try to enforce a rule that way, but do not pretend you have the right to steal and burn somebody else’s property just because you disagree with them. You could also buy your own copy of this flag, and burn that in effigy. Find a good way to protest without infringing on somebody else’s right to free speech.

  • Can you wash these? Will people wonder why your hands are all over your area all the time?

  • You’re correct. It is spelled homicide. Sorry for that typo. In my defense, it was a vocab test, not a spelling test. And it was my son’s test, not mine. : )

  • Last week my 10 year old came home with a new vocab list. It included “homocide”, “regicide”, and “fratricide”. I was a little shocked, but I simply explained the meaning of the words and moved on. Then my son said part of this week’s assignment was to draw pictures of the meanings of the words to ensure you knew the meaning. I wondered for a moment if he might get suspended for bringing in pictures of a homocide that he drew. Maybe in some schools he’d be forced to visit a shrink. Anyway, he turned it in with no problems. I guess our school is normal enough. I‘m glad they’re learning these types of words.

By the way, if kids didn’t know what a gun was, what might they do if they found one?

  • Hello GOP supporter. Your friend, X, has been inspired by you to donate to the Obama Campaign. And we have been inspired by X to start a tax audit on you. Get all of those reciepts together. :)

  • It is NOT stealing if you left it on their property. This was a common area, owned by the HOA. You can‘t just leave somthing on somebody else’s land, and then call it stealing when them move it. I’m not sure if they can keep it or not. I’m not sure if this falls within littering laws and what you can do when somebody litters, and you’ve told them for months to take it away. I believe they have the right to keep it, or throw it away, or sell it to pay for part of your fine.

  • I like this guy more now, because he was giving out full size candy bars for Halloween in one of the photos after the link. We all love those housed that gave out full size candy bars!

  • Good. I hope they end up cancelling this one, due to lack of interest.
