  Janedough and lynskinners, you guys are giving my a headache!! Bill is no more a liberal than I am a buffalo. He grew up in a working class family with a conservative father. He has no choice than to look at things from a conservative angle (whether he admits it or not).
  Jane, Rev. 3:16 is talking about your passion for the church. If a Christian doesn’t take his faith seriously “it would be better to have not been born”.

  Speaking of Christians, we should be working in our congregations more. Don’t worry about the politics of your fellow congregant. The people you should be worried about are the leaders. The leaders should be worried about teaching the Bible correctly not about how someone votes. If you teach the Bible where people squirm in their pew (and provided they stay) they will vote the way God wants them to. I have faith God will prevail (I read ahead, lol). It may not be in our lifetime but He will be the victor!

  He is wrong on this! We can not have people in the streets smoking MJ. This is part of the problem with our society today, people are checking out. I am a volunteer fireman and first off you can’t have a druggie operating a firetruck or using SCBA equipment and running into a burning building. Second we are having trouble getting volunteers because people are not responsible anymore. They would rather go out and get stoned instead of take care of their community. The world we live in has always had it’s flaws (we are a fallen people) but as of late people don‘t give a rip about each other and I think it’s because of all the drugs. It’s high time people take responsibility for themselves, their communities, their state and their country. Stop getting stoned & drunk, turn off the tv and go out and participate in your communities!!

  If the above statement in true, I believe this man is a patriot. However, I believe him to be a misguided patriot. We must stop demonizing people like Smith. He should be taken under someone’s wing and taught the differences between a free market and socialism. Now the people like Joy Bayhar (however you spell it) should be taken down a notch or two if you ask me. She just spews the party line and doesn’t even care if it is correct or not.

  You guys are missing the underlying reason that he changes all the time. He’s from Chicago! That‘s the way the machine works there and besides he has nothing to worry about because most states don’t require ID. No problem, rent a bus and take people from poll to poll. Absolutely absurd!! If this weren’t so serious I would be laughing my behind off. :( Lord, please help us.

  I can’t vote for the man but you have to admit that he will be better than a full blown lefty. We conservatives have a hard time comprehending that we didn‘t get into the fix we’re in by electing a full blown lib. We got here by electing someone who was just a little to the left, then the next couple of elections a little farther to the left, and so on and so on. We need to get back the other way using the same method.
