  • No, I have to stand up for the people in Rio Linda. The people in Rio Linda are much smarter than these ignorant dolts; they know that Rush lives and works in Florida.

  • It is my understanding that Rick Santorum and his wife attended this ridiculous spectacle. Did Kimmel not know this or did he just not care? I would guess the latter. As far as I’m concerned, there are no great comedians any more. The great ones didn’t stoop to the trash that passes for humor today.

What the Santorum family did in the process of grieving the death of their infant son is their own business; it is not something any decent person would use as joke material. But there also seems to be a shortage of decent human beings in this world.

By the way, for those who are too young to know or who are just plain uninformed, people used to display their deceased relatives (in or out of coffins) in the parlor of their home for viewing by family and friends; it’s part of the grieving process for some people, an opportunity to say “good-bye” for some, just like having an open casket at a Rosary service or funeral is today. Grieving is a very personal thing and should be treated with respect. It is sad that we live in world where these words even need to be said. Very, very sad.

  • From the looks of things, they are doing a pretty good job of indoctrinating our children. I happened upon a web site that contained some art work done by children, art work which was supposed to have the theme of our First Amendment. I found the depiction of the First Amendment by a number of the children very troubling. Is this what they are learning in school? Unfortunately, I think the answer is “Yes”.

Here is the web site: http://www.courtsed.org/cartoon_contest_2012.htm

  • Harry Reid was re-elected by ballot-stuffing, corrupt labor unions… not the people of Nevada.

  • How sad. Our country is being destroyed by a Marxist dictator in the White House and all some are worried about is whether Glenn Beck fancies himself the U.S. President. I listen to Glenn on radio and on GBTV and have NEVER gotten the impression that he is interested in being President. He has an opinion and he has a venue to express his opinion; don’t like it? Turn it off and go away.

As for comments about the messenger, I don’t need a Ronald Reagan or JFK look-alike to deliver “The Oval” message; I just need someone who is articulate enough to deliver the message and believes what he is saying, and Glenn certainly is all that. It’s about the message, people, not the messenger.

Maybe someday (Jan. 2013) we will have a real President in the White House again that loves this country and can give these speeches from the heart. Then Glenn can use his set for movies or TV shows. Until that day arrives, I will continue to tune in each week for encouragement from “The Oval”.

  • “Are you going to trust NBC News after this?” NO!

I have not trusted ABC, CBS, CNN, or NBC since the week of 9/11/2001. During that week, each of these networks refused to accurately report the name of President George W. Bush’s proclamation declaring a “National Day of Prayer and Remembrance”. Each of these networks removed the word “Prayer” from the name of the proclamation (for you doubters, I visited each network that week to find out how they were covering the proclamation; only Fox News got it right). The job of a news organization is to report the news, not suppress it. This was a “light bulb” moment for me, and one that caused me to question everything and everyone in the MSM. I now only visit Fox News for TV news and get most of my news from web sources that have proven to be reliable.

By the way, have any of you noticed how many of our so-called news people are either former political hacks or are married to political hacks? There seems to be a revolving door between the news media and the political class in this country, on both sides of the aisle. Hmm, looks like a conflict of interest to me. Why would I trust any of them?

  • Jesus did not directly address the issue of homosexuality, but he did say this in Matthew 5:17-20:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Be careful, Jimmy Carter, very careful. You are distorting the Word of God and leading people astray.

As for those who doubt that the Bible is the Word of God, I will only point out that the Bible has been 100% accurate in the fulfillment of its prophecy. I will leave it at that because Jesus also had something to say about how to discuss Truth in Matthew 7:6

  • Romney has 454 delegates; the combined delegates of Santorum, Gingrich, and Paul are 371. That tells me that this race is far from over. If Romney does not get the 1,144 delegates he needs on his own, he will have to convince Santorum, Gingrich, or Paul to endorse him and swing their delegates to him to win. If the total number of delegates that go to Santorum, Gingrich, and Paul combined is 1,144 or more, look for those three candidates to broker a deal for one of them be the nominee. I know there are restrictions about delegates switching candidates, but that is what conventions are for. This race is not over and those who want it to be are disenfranchising the American voters who still haven’t weighed in yet.

  • Please, can we dispense with the conspiracy theories. The Pope isn‘t going to run the country if Santorum becomes President and Salt Lake City isn’t going to run the country if Romney is elected. The greater threat we and the next President face comes from all of the leftists that are entrenched in the Federal bureaucracy. If the next administration doesn’t clean house and reduce the size of government, our country will not change direction. Start the house cleaning wherever you like; for my money, the house cleaning should start with our treasonous State Department (after the czars are sent packing).

  • Since when has allowing the people to choose the candidates for President become a waste of time? I live in California and I’m getting tired of having the primary decided before I even get a chance to vote. If Romney is going to be the nominee, he should win the delegates while competing against other candidates, not just be “crowned” by a bunch of elitist RINOs. I’ll hold my nose and vote for Romney if I have to, to beat Obama, but Romney is going to have to earn it. Glenn always says he doesn’t know much about politics; I have to agree with him on that. GO SANTORUM!
