  Philby – We humans don’t want Jesus butting in and stopping our fun, but he is interested in all the details in our lives and wants you to know him intimately, as he knows you. Now that I have known him for years, I am able to hear his direction and encouragements for me every day, provided I take the time to listen and read his Book. He is honoring Tim Tebow because Tim honors him, as he said he would in the Bible. There is no love like Jesus’ love for humankind – nothing close. Best of luck in finding this out for yourself.

  @ PUDSSWEETIE – I said that LDS had a HISTORY of excluding blacks and a doctrine of 3 wives to ascend to heaven – both are completely true, Sweetie. Apparently I, as a non-Mormon, have done more research into it than you. lol It is super easy to use a search engine. After all, it is YOUR religion. The LDS church has tried to hide some ugly things in their past. Hey, maybe they have changed, and that is good, but remember, there is no scripture that is God’s Word but the Bible. I have been canning food long before I knew the LDS’s did it – they didn’t INVENT it.

  Hummm – Wondered if this comment site was going to be edited by Mormons. I wrote to politely respond to BeckFan1941 who is under-informed about her own Mormonism. I included quotes from Mormon apostles; my comments were deleted by this site, even though on topic, since many pro-mormon religious discussion comments are posted. The reason Mormonism is a cult and not a denomination is because they have another scripture book that they place, ultimately, above the Bible. “There is no salvation outside The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints” – Apostle Bruce R. McConkie. They have another Jesus whose sacrifice was not enough, as temple rituals are also required for full salvation. These doctrines violate basics of Christian faith that cannot be disregarded and still call yourself Christian. Jesus told us to beware because many would come and call Him Christ, but were wolves in sheeps’ clothing. There are many posers out there, so beware. Glenn Beck may be a Christian, and not adhere to the concealed doctrines of Mormon, but his helpers are apparently Mormons who won’t consider that the Bible says not to add anything to it or God will add the curses therein to them. In the above clip, Glenn states “Three paths to God.” No, Glenn, just one – Jesus the Christ. Which “denomination” has their own scripture book? I love GB and love the Mormons but mostly love Truth.   I love Glenn and what he is doing for Israel – God will bless him for it. But Mormonism is wrong like rat poison is deadly – it is 99.99% good ingredients and .01% disguised poison. Elevating any other “scripture” beside the Bible is serious error. LDS history is fraught with error that they run from, as in exclusion of blacks, three wives necessary to ascend to heaven and the absolute authority of the Prophet and Temple for salvation. Doctrine that states that individuals can become gods, or that temple rituals are required for full salvation, or that heaven can only be gained through the certification of Joseph Smith–these doctrines and others are concealed. F. Burton Howard and F. Enzio Busche, members of the First Quorum of the Seventy, said: “We have an obligation to conceal our doctrines; [because] we are trying to be a mainstream Christian church . . .” Mormon Apostle, Bruce R. McConkie, stated, “If it had not been for Joseph Smith and the restoration, there would be no salvation. There is no salvation outside The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.” I have a lot in common with their family/home-centered life and love them dearly, but just a little bit of stray will eventually take you far off course. Glenn is my hero, but the deception just reared its ugly head again in the above video when he states, “All 3 [main religions in Israel] are paths to God.” NO!   This exact same thing happened last year at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. Black young people were heard saying, “Get Whitey” and ran through the main street in the fair, beating whites and nearly beat one to death. They broke car windows and beat up white people and the authorities downplayed it and even said there was no evidence that it was racially motivated (or course not!) Twice the number of police will be there this year, we’re told. Our family has their “right to carry” permits, and thousands of other Iowans got theirs this year, too, so maybe it will look differently this season. I agree, race wars are coming and whites will be unprepared in the cities. Turn off your sitcoms, get out and get armed, for your children’s sakes!
