  it would be theft of mislaid property had he kept the money and been found out about. however, the fact that the woman offered no reward while he did homework and spent time looking for the owner is troublesome in that it alludes to the fact that the money might not have been ‘accounted’ for. giving it to the police would‘ve been the best option because he would’ve benefited if it was never claimed and only an honest person would’ve reported missing cash to the cops. in closing, i probably would’ve kept the cash a secret and use it to buy booze and cigs….

  To AmazingGrace8… your mom is probably dead because of her stubbornness and unwillingness to realize this isn’t the 18th century. Granted she was probably too old to be alive in the first place…. but what would she need to read her prescription for (to complain about it even more)? Sorry to any one that may think that I’m heartless…but I am just offended and resentful of old people that think they run the world with their preconceived notions (its bad enough I’m paying their social security instead of my own retirement). Someday I hope to run a nursing home…… there will be a high turnover rate and my shareholders will be impressed

  Mike Moore should realize that he is the biggest (pun intended) bigot out here. I hate to even bring attention to his retarded rhetoric but it should be noted that he is lambasting a “black” president while condemning others of being racists. Frankly, we don’t care what color this president is but we do expect to be heard if we criticize his policies.

  i work on a farm in pa and it is true that it doesn’t pay to give to foodbanks anymore….no tax benefits, extra costs, and no thanks. its more profitable and less expensive to dispose of “unmarketable” produce in the fields then to help others (although we would love to). buy local and don‘t be a ***** if your carrot isn’t straight……don’t blame the farmer for your arrogance because it all tastes the same.
