  • Well, I guess that settles it then, doesn’t it?

It is a good thing the our Nation, our Government and our various types of representatives have such a well earned reputation for honesty and character, that all we have to do is take Hawaii’s word, and move on… Ouch

  • (Note: I too found your choice of avatar curious? Anyway:)

I don’t know what the law in Florida is, BUT, given the attendant racism within a plurality of the African American sub-set, perhaps Zimmerman would stand a better chance of a fair trial by way of a Judge, rather than a Jury?

(Note: Liberal-Socialists have become identifiable by a pronounced tick on their right side; the result of thrusting their clenched fists up slightly forward. There is no cure for such)

  • If General Shabazz needs any help learning how to tie that complicated knot, I’m sure the local Klan chapter will be happy to help him out? Maybe even show the “General” a few tricks!

    Ouch!

  • BAIKONUR,

    “Malapropism?”

Are you familiar with the term “non sequitur?”

You are inferring a conclusion not based on the premise… Ergo, the “malapropism’s” you mention above, are etymologically related to the word “malaprop,” which implies a mistake, or the unintentional. Hence, your argument falls as you are suggesting, (‘non sequitur’) that the serendipity is the same as the intentional. (Bush’s clumsy use of a word vs.Obama’s deliberate potty humor)

Furthermore, your petulant claim of not being capable of understanding President Bush, despite his linguistic shortcomings, says way more about you, than him!

I can’t wait to read your subsequent, silly retort?

  • Look, I enjoy bawdy humor, in the proper context. However, I found the “toilet flush” jocularity inappropriate, even gauche! In fact, I was stunned at the frat boy, locker room raunchiness , and I am no prude. But, I have the sophistication to know better than to fart in public.

God help the Republican party, had “W” pulled something like this. I should note, that Laura Bush would have strenuously counseled against such?

  • Isn’t it inconsiderate, irresponsible and self centered to bring your fussy child to a crowded Baseball Game?

Furthermore, isn‘t this video antithetical to one of Beck’s lessons on self reliance and anti PC?

Isn’t this a lesson in emotional, whiny liberalism? The kid whines, the media howls and poof, the kid gets some stuff, for free? Oh, that’s right, I am supposed to be compassionate and squishy?

I can’t make up my mind!

  • GIRL,

    I concur…

Unfortunately, the theory is: Minorities, who lack “power” (economic) cannot commit racism or “hate crimes?”

I was first exposed to this theory in a Pre-law course at Colorado, in 1992. The height of the Columbus Day parades, American Indian Movement, Spike Lee’s movie, “Do the Right Thing,“ ”revisionist history,” etc.

Allow me to reiterate: A group or race that lacks “economic power,” cannot by definition commit a hate crime!

Only in Boulder, or Berkley, or Madison… People actually think like this?

  • Was this, truthfully, just two men, a writer and broadcaster, using a common phrase that even I have used? OR, was this a deliberate play on words with those individuals playing cute with the phrase?

IF, this case was the former, than it is obviously grotesque, PC nonsense and ESPN should have stood by their employees. IF, it was the latter, then the men should pay whatever price ESPN deems needed, even being fired.

However, honestly, what was this a case of? I am so sick of PC crusaders carrying the day, because “good people let evil, (bad people) prevail!”

  • Did Mom and her son do this to be gracious and honestly share with others a small portion of their faith? Or, did Mom and her son do this to stir up trouble?

I know that this same question comes up regarding Islamic adherents, both at home and abroad?

  • I suggested this once before, but I can’t recall when and where?

Anyway, I believe the only way to solve this PC sports team monikers/names dilemma, is to create a list of geometric figures and, possibly algebraic equations, etc., and then name the teams after those?

For instance, we could have the New York Parallelograms vs the Green Bay Circles? Go Circles!
Or, the New England Rectangles vs, the Minnesota Isosceles? Go Rectangles!

There, that should solve the problem and make the Liberals happy…
