New Pic Shows Aftermath of Man Tied to Chair by Cops and Pepper-Sprayed ‘Until He Died’
December 24, 2011 at 10:06am
This is horrific, awful and disturbing. It is also nothing new. This happened 2 1/2 years ago. The only thing that makes a story about somebody dieing in police custody timely right now is that pepper spray was apparently used excessively and we have pictures / video newly made public. I apologize but I see stories like this all the time. I find it interesting and sometimes disturbing what news agencies use to cherry pick one story out of a thousand. My prayers are with the family. I hope justice is brought those responsible for this man’s death.

Would You Monitor Your Baby With This High-Tech Onesie?
December 10, 2011 at 2:35am
Seems like a good idea to me, especially for those parents that have to leave their special needs child with a care-giver while at work. A camera can tell you where the baby is, what its visibly doing, but this could let you know if the baby is in distress. Of course you would trust your care-giver, but its better to verify.
And for the squeamish, I cant see where this is really going to be used for many except special needs children. The ones where parents have real concerns and the baby requires 24 / 7 attention. Also with an infant every split second counts. Its crucial to the most correct information sooner, instead of guessing.
‘It’s a Black Problem’: Fla. Black Panthers Call for End to Violence After 15 Shot in 2 Days
September 3, 2011 at 12:43pm
Really people?!? Children were hurt and killed and you are concerned that the signs were made quickly and spelled correctly? Then you are saying its a good thing that these people died. What is it about the internet that makes you think you can say such hateful things? It really is no wonder that some folks think Mr Beck is racist, when “his supporters” post such vile comments on his site. People, children, were hurt / killed. Others are stepping up and trying to stop the violence. Support the good work. Be a voice for positive change.

Unfortunately our federal government abandoned the Constitution decades ago. We need to return to it desperately.
Another Example of NYC’s Oppressive Business Environment – You Need a License to Pump Gas
May 21, 2011 at 3:18pm
This is not all that new. In California or Oregon, as I was traveling through it took forever to get gas as everyone had to wait for a station employee to pump it. Customers were not allowed by state law to pump their own.

Got to thinking about how the Obama administration has at times not cared for the term “Obamacare”, so I thought its really “Takecare”, as in that is all its going to do and we all better take care to NOT get sick if it takes over.

Security Video Shows Alleged NYPD ‘Rape Cops’ Escorting Accuser Into Her Apartment
April 10, 2011 at 1:44am
I agree with Bonnieblueflag, a civil case makes more sense if she wants justice. A criminal rape case is hard enough to prove when its just a flat out attack. She was compromised with, apparently, alcohol and the defendants are police. An up hill battle to say the least. With a civil case she might ask for $60 million but could settle for the officers losing their jobs at a minimum. Also evidence that a civil trail brought out could be used against an offender in a criminal case. Im thinking her lawyer of choice probably has more experience in lawsuits than as a defense attorney.
Archie Comics to Launch Series for First Gay Character

I always noticed that those men usually had a few attractive women nearby. But Im sure the latent homosexual creators of the comics ONLY included them for the homosexual female readers.
