  This is just like in Cuba. At the beginning of the Robolution when people decided to leave for the US, they had their possessions taken inventory of, by the Government dogs, and they had to leave everything for the government or they were not allowed to leave. If you a painting, or a refrigerator that you wanted to give to your brother, you had to do it before you made known that you intended to leave the country. One big example of that was when Celia Cruz, the cuban star singer, left the country, they made her take off all the jewelry she was wearing (real and expensive) and they took all of it from her at customs.
  This is socialism at its “best”.
  The funny thing is that nobody does that to the artists that leave european countries, for example John Lennon, and other british musicians that leave UK because of the high tax rates and ocme to the US. I guess paraphrasing the popular song title “Give peace a chance”, maybe he meant “Give ME a chance”

  You are sooo tootally right. I’m Cuban and lived this in the island. At first it’s free for all and then as things ran out (because socialism discourages efficiency and innovation) then the government “realizes” that it’s been too “paternalistic” and starts taking back things. But by then it is very firmly in power, and it has created the structures for selfperpetuation.
  It’s then that the people (the masses, the sheep) come to know the real face of the moster. And of course the people necessary for the preservation of the regime have all kind of privileges that keeps them from suffering the misery to which the system has condemned the majority of the people.

  Haha, atheists should make sure they stick to easy victims, such as christians, christian prayer at school, or religious (christian) symbols in public buldings.
  I guess they just got a taste of what would happen to them if this wasn’t a society based on Judeo Christian principles. I find this news totally ironic.

  Many (not all) Jews conspired to get Jesus killed. But Jesus was killed by the Romans. The ones that whipped and crucified Jesus, and the ones that hammered in those hateful nails, were Roman soldiers. So technically it‘s arguable that the Jews didn’t kill Jesus (to their shame, they did get him killed though, and the ones who didn’t agree, didn’t defend him, Peter included, when he denied him three times out of fear).
  So, if somebody will hate The Jews (as opposed to Some Jews) then they should hate The Romans, as opposed to some Romans (Pilatus, and the ones who actually performed te crime). After all the Romans were the ones that took on themselves to prosecute the early Christians and feed them to the lions for entertainment. And following that line of reasoning, then, since the Italians are the descendants of the Romans, and thee is a lot of Italians in the 1 percent, maybe we should also “hate” the Italians. Or is it that God and civilization forgave the Romans because they eventually made Christianity their official religion, after killing Christ and thousands of Christians?
