  The Ft Hood debacle was the result of a Clinton administration’s touchy feely policy to disarm US soldiers on US bases, VA hospitals and other federal facilities. As a result such locations are target rich environments for terrorists and their ilk. The Fort Hood massacre had to be stopped by civilian off base police since we couldn’t trust those in the military with evil guns. Extending such policy to a war zone seems a little insane, but this administration carries such to an art form.

  Just as Social Security funds are kept in a lock-box just for retirement, Planned Parenthood can totally keep breast screening separate from abortions. Used to help out in the Komen runs, at one time had about 25 or thirty sponsored. No More.

  Liberal? Conservative? The question has no meaning. He lived in an oppressed defeated country, part of the Roman Empire. The local government and theocracy was cruel and corrupt. Yet his divinity and message was so profound the world was changed.

  I used to live in Glendale, Calif. years ago. The coyotes would come out and night and thin the local cat and poodle population. The problem was that they are opportunistic hunters living in close proximity to humans and eventually one got in a back yard and killed a small child. I personally have seen them (coyotes) in many urban areas of the West. Coyotes are generally not the threat wolves could be. Both are real smart predators.

  I have seen pictures of wolves in Idaho. Big mothers, run in packs. Aggressive and weight 150+. I sure wouldn’t want to go snowshoeing in the winter unarmed or not anywhere near their range.

  If the goal of the Taliban is to get to paradise by exercising extreme intolerance and killing those who don’t agree with them, then we need to deny them that opportunity. Peeing is sort of classless, instead lets use bacon in our hollow points and bury them with pig parts. If they were guaranteed not to make it to their heaven by fighting infidels, then maybe we could cut down on their motivation. Lets start with their religious leaders that preach and recruit extremists. Of course it would be nice if we were energy independent.
