  In addition there was a large Asian population in South Africa, mostly Indians from the sub continent. Remember the movie GANDHI produced by Richard Attenborough where the idea of non- violence was hatched in that nation? They were imported to do the servant ( or coolie) work but quickly educated themselves into the middle class (doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc) and like the Whites had to flee that nation.
  When blacks in this nation always point to the “racism” of whites, South Africa along with Uganda are classic examples of extreme racism by blacks.

  What this little ditty of an article failed to mention is that South Africa during the period of apartheid, MOST of the blacks WERE NOT from nation of South Africa. Like the illegal immigrants in the USA. the government of South Africa imported Africans from other African nations, mostly from Angola. These imported Africans shared little with their brotheren be it language or culture and considered the nation of South Africa as a foreign nation with all that comes with it, such as a total disregard to law and order.
  The current leader has six wives, 20 children. Each wife has a mansion of her own in different provinces. As for the whites that have (to my opinion foolishly) decided to stay, live in homes with six foot electrified walls and the city of Johannesburg. once the pride of that nation is no different than a third world nation with an ever growing slums, filth on the streets and rampant crime.

  We are wasting our soldiers on these intolerant people who should belong in the short bus because our ever loving government puts the lives of our soldiers ahead of the lives of Afghani’s. Such vicious rules like “zero” collateral damage and the “seven rules of engagement” gives them the upper hand in the war and restricts our military in using the world’s most advanced military system to win a war, and instead are using man power.
  We can win any war if our air force alone is used to the fullest, add to this our army of submarines who can fight a land war from the ocean, to our missile system. Yes we are using drones but that already has created enough of backlash because of some Afghani simpleton getting in the way.

  What makes you think that the average Afghani bathes? Afghanistan, with the exception of areas near the Hindu Kush have little water and what water there is the infrastructure is so poor in her delivery system. Most do not bathe and by culture (and personal experience) do not LIKE to bathe. The rich simply use a lot of cologne over their body odor creating a chemical smell that is repulsive.

  This is like arguing with a mad man but here goes. If farting by our Marines near Afghani‘s is banned shouldn’t this ban be equally applied to Afghani’s doing the same next to our Marines? I doubt it. One thing I do know is that Arab “culture” thinks belching is a good sign of a guest for it demonstrates that the guest is satisfied by the food. Why am I even commenting on this madness?
  When we remove the last troops from that nation, hopefully all the Marines can do a team fart before leaving.

  Third comment:
  There is a saying in the White House “Never let a crisis go to waste”. Believe me that saying is too true under President Obama. After this hurricane leaves a deadly path along the east coast, the government will not waste a moment to implement issues that to date have been resisted by the Tea party or the Republicans in the Congress.
  We are about to embark on probably the last chapter of a very sad and unneeded miserable period. Some commentators have stated that this hurricane could be the “straw that broke the camel’s back” and I share that view.
  FOX news is already predicting the second level of economic disaster that this hurricane will cause. Outside of the first level of basic damage to infrastructure and homes that survived the housing crisis. FOX news stated that this is the period when the sale of school material would help the economy and now with this hurricane tiny hope has evaporated.
  In addition I have seen the waste of precious savings on boarding materials, generators etc. which if this hurricane did not take this trajectory, all that savings would have helped millions of families. FOX news also stated that many of our energy plants ancillary aspects such as the piping, electric lines etc. will be devastated, creating black outs that could last for weeks if not months. If that happens then the commercial sector will be hard hit along our eastern seaboard.

  First an unusual earthquake now a Hurricane who trajectory has not happened since way back in 1936. Is this divine providence? is this just basic bad luck for all of us? following the trajectory of this storm millions upon millions will be victims of a double attack by nature.
  I still believe that the earthquake had loosened the top soil of large portions of many areas where the earthquake was felt, compromising even in the smallest level, the foundations of quickly built homes. Now add to that immense amount of water and one has the perfect recipe of homes and other structures’ foundations giving away.
  As for the economic aspect it is too horrible to think. When Katrina and Rita hit New Orleans the biggest problem outside of the damage done by those twin hurricanes was government bureaucracy The “road home to Louisiana” was a corrupt politicians dream come true and that 10 billion just evaporated. I have visited New Orleans recently and the damage done by those Hurricanes still lingers in many parts of that city.
  I fear outside of the damage done by Irene, the Obama government will either cannot or have programs with so much red tape that large sections of the east coast will be left in ruins..
