  • I don’t care who you are, that’s funny right there. If you can’t admit that, then you are a little too angry about your issues than you should be.

“That‘s just something I like to say when a problem isn’t really solved, but I don’t want to talk about it anymore…” Ha! Funny.

  • @soy

It is Obama that has flip flopped (not evolved) as he was originally for (1996 State Senator Campaign) then against (US Senate and 1st presidential term campaigns), and then now for again in a blatant attempt to make this contest about anything but our current economic status. Romney has been consistent. Marriage is between a man and a woman. End of sentence.

Leave it to someone so blatantly prejudiced to incorrectly assign the apparent flip flopping in a manner closely associate to bigotry, or blind antimony.

  • Why would an atheist be intelligent enough, by virtue of his evolved genius, to see beyond the mythological, and find solace in the scientific, but not be intelligent enough to see the value of allowing a Christian majority to exist, without intellectual assault, which secures him from a life of survival of the fittest as society’s ultimate edict?

  • …And I for one, being a lowly human being of little importance in this magnificient societal era, find it remarkable this great and historical leader actually condescends to equivocate succinctly and with authority on such a vital issue in this day and age. Children with unmarried domestic partner parents have ceased to cry because of the pain of being labeled different, and now cry tears of joy along with their loving and committed, although yet to be legally accepted, same-sex parents. I must say, it just simply must have taken this long in the Great American Experiment for society to produce such a magnanomous and tirelessly selfless genius to push forward this progressive triumph. And I feel like I can rightly celebrate and toast our new age, because all it took, was the words flowing from his mouth, and I dare say, heart, although my thoughts are certainly not his thoughts, as it is now only a matter of moments before the entire country embraces such Solomon like wisdom…

    REALLY?

  • This is brilliant legislation. If the mother is committed to her decision, what is 72 more hours? If she is teetering or emotional (obviously she would be easily compromised while pregnant, not to mention 10 percent less blood flow to the brain) then she is more likely to need the time to reconsider and may in fact decide on an alternate plan. This is a state’s attempt to protect would be mothers from making a decision based on the enticement, coercion, and politics of those in the “business” of killing children, they might regret later. Bravo for the legislator to call it consumer protection. And of course planned parenthood has their agenda, so they are rightfully pissed off at the intrusion into their power entitlement, and they know dang well that there will be women who will change their mind during the course of the three days, and they don’t give a rats patoot about the women, let alone the babies, they care about the measure of their influence and power. Pure and simple, and oh, by the way, evil as well.

Encicom, but abortion is not a right, it is a miscarriage of justice. Rights come from our creator and are inalienable. Abortion as a “right” is a fiction of Government, and is instead a privilege which the government did not have the “right” to extend. Be that as it may, each individual is responsible for their decisions no matter what the government says. Caesar sometimes gets what is caesar’s. At least abortion isn’t yet a requirement a la China.

  • It doesn’t end with “Marriage.”

After they have accomplished legal validity, then they want their behavior choice to be depicted as normal in the books our children read, the public television shows they watch, and they want to force acceptance of their practice on the very churches who do not, by scriptural mandate, condone it. They don’t want individual states making up their own collective minds on the issue, they want someone with centralized power to force the issue down the throats of the 49.9999 percent of the electorate who don’t agree. There is no difference between “Marriage” and civil union, as far as rights, privileges, etc. are concerned. Marriage is just a word as far as the law goes. But that word will open the flood gates of demands (they are a lot like terrorists on this issue) like Catholic charities having to extend adoption services to Same sex couples, calling into question the tax exempt status of any church that refuses to recognize legalized and politicized same sex marriages, forcing our schools to give equal representation of their version of “normal” in texts, and other reading materials. They want to change peoples minds on the issue by changing the terminology. Total leftist strategy being employed here, such as coercing and cojoling us into the acceptance of Totalitarian rule by calling it progressive. Who wants to stop progress, right?

Vomit, puke, and bile. Obama has sold his soul no matter his core beliefs.

  • A mere step above wild animals. Don’t gerbils and hamsters eat their young? There you go. What a bunch of gerbils!

  • Pathetic, saccharin sweet, vomit inducing prose. Ralph.

  • Yet another example of Romney being accused of flip flopping when in reality his is the most logical and appropriate thing to have said, and when examined closely reveals consistency in his stated opinions and objectives over the span of many years.

I have stated before and will again. The military machine that found out, and caught up with UBL was put into place and fired up under George Bush. Obama was not daft enough to stop it, and can only be given credit for not saying “No” to the kill opportunity. Hardly a “Courageous” decision. In reality it could have been done smarter and with better results than the mess it created, but the past is now over. And try as he might, Obama can’t win on this issue.

Those of us on the right do not feel he gets all the credit, and therefore looks like Al Gore bragging about starting the internet. The left are disgusted that their guy went forward with the decision to kill UBL because they don’t believe he truly deserved the instant death penalty, a core belief for most of them.

Romney was right, as usual, and Obama is obviously maladjusted for the job and should and will be dismissed from his post in January 2013.

  • As if Obama had a choice? The Military machine that located Bin Laden was put into place while Bush was in the white house, the engine was still running on the fuel provided by water boarding and every other evil enhanced interrogation technique available when Obama was sworn in, and when the time came, they only needed permission. As if he could have said no.

As far as the attack on Romney as to what he may or may not have chosen to do with Bin Laden, that’s like trying to run on the intensity of the recession that could have been, or the jobs that should have been lost but were saved by his masterful intervention, or the size the defecit could be if it wasn’t for his wise constraint, but the reality is, Obama should have been a better President, but the facts prove he wasn’t and so it is time for him to be fired, and evicted, and relegated to the footnotes of history.
