  LOL @ the Paul Bots. Yes Paul did foresee the economic stress but had differing comments on 9/11 and his allies on 9/11 are truthers so I cant comment either way on that one. Romney’s comments IS big for the campaign as he will easily hit the magic number of delegates when California votes later on. Romney should use this and attack the Islamist he has in his administration. Paul wouldnt have done that because Islam isnt a threat to him or the country in his mind its the US Military.

  Like Ive said before on FB, I support Ron Paul’s domestic policies ten fold (wish he was a lil more on the attack of entitlements rather than just all defense spending) but he is worlds away from the mainstream on Foreign Policy. Spam me if you want but seriously, Total Isolationism, or as you guys modified the word “Non-Interventionism” is fantasy period.

  Hauschild, I was there he had about 4 seconds before he hit the ground as it was a very low altitude stunt. I was completely baffled and shocked at the incident today. But like many have said before, he died doing what he loved to do, may I be as fortunate. God bless him, and I give my prayers to his wife and son. And two the two pilots as they will be in need of much support over the coming weeks.

  Ron Paul was starting to make me warm up to the idea of possibly entertaining the idea of voting for him in the primary. But this just takes the cake. This guy who is all about cutting foreign funding for our enemies (which includes Pakistan) would have asked for help in getting this guy alive?? Seriously, Pakistan or areas of the Pakistani govt/army/ISI were in on harboring him. Paul we do not deal with terrorists/or states that sponsor (admit-tingly or secretively) terror. A lil bit of Hypocrisy here. Paul as many of you have said, needs to be Fed Chairman or make him Treasury Sec. That’s his specialty and areas I agree with him on 1000%!!!! As for POTUS I can no longer entertain voting for him.

  Wow, thanks for being the hatemongers on this site. And for you guys to assume I am a far left liberal is insane. I am just saying some compassion for these people that are DYING would be great. I know that Al-Qaeda has probably infiltrated the rebels. I know that Qaddafi and the Rebels want to destroy each other. But when there are innocents being killed by a mad man, that if i remember right is a dictator, is in or was in total control of the military and probably by gun point makes civilians love him, we need to intervene. Those civilians that are welcoming home the terrorist from the Pan-Am flight were probably put up to that by gun point ever think of that guys>? Let us just say that I am not a Muslim, not a American kissing up to the Muslims either. I believe unlike Egypt which was probably started by the Muslim Brotherhood to initiate a Sha-Ria Law based Govt. there, Libyans are in my view seeking true democracy since they have never EVER felt freedom….So hate me if you will, but that is what I truly believe, call me a idealist, or a pathetic excuse of an American for having an opinion, but I will not call these people at least the ones that are seeking freedom monsters, and I wont call you guys names like you have me.   Im in agreement with several of you. I hate to think of conspiracies, but man, the Nuclear incident in Japan has made Nuclear Power in the media now not a viable option…..and now again so ‘CLOSE’ to the Japan Incident, ANOTHER oil ‘spill’. I don’t know I smell rats. What are we to live on solar powered cars and wind power that cant even power 10% of the country?? Stupid environmentalist wack jobs!!

  This is what I say, about two weeks too late Mr. President. While you were twiddling your thumbs, planning out your brackets and Rio vacation, rebels had been crying out for support and we gave them the famous, ‘All options are on the table,’ CRAP! I must say a No Fly Zone now is insufficient to tip the balance of power now encircling the rebels in Benghazi. Air Strikes are viable, however troops on the ground or any more money giving to ‘rebuild’ Libya especially if Qaddafi regains power is out of the question. As someone else noted, our ground forces are spread out to thin, and we dont need another Lebanon incident either.

  For those who say let them fight for their own independence/freedom. They have done that but without air defenses or power they are sunk. Imagine of the French did the same thing to us during our Revolution and didn’t offer help, we WOULD be still or close to being under the crown of England still. Or at least still under their tutorship and expertise.

  Ill go as far as Air Strikes and a No Fly Zone but besides that nothing else should be on the table. But as I said up top, too little too late Obummer, you are doing this out of political necessity. Not out of freedom or compassion for the Libyan people and civilians. PATHETIC!
