As a neighborhood watch captain, following and confronting someone who you believe is acting suspiciously is in no way inciting a conflict. See how that works both ways? If you’re walking through my neighborhood, and I don’t like the way you look, then I have every right to approach you and find out what you’re up to. That has never, and hopefully never will be, against the law. Furthermore, said action on my part dos NOT give you any right to attack me, even if I’m carrying a concealed weapon. Until I draw that weapon, you have no right to make it physical, no even if you can see the weapon.

You weren’t there. You don’t know what the kid was doing. Maybe he was walking between houses, looking in windows.

I wasn’t there. I don’t know what Zimmerman did. Maybe he approached with his pistol drawn yelling, “Freeze”.

Until the facts and the results of the investigation are released, stop making your stupid assumptions and showing your bleeding heart liberal bias.

  • What egos these people have! “I’m important! How dare the president not pay attention to me!” Yeah, he was rude, it‘s because you’re white. Get over it. Learn something and move on!

  • @ENCINOM

I’ve never responded to you before, and I promised I never will again. Unlike even JZS, who does in fact have a working brain, even if it is misguided, you, sir, are a complete idiot.

Reflection and projection; that’s all you have. You are so bigoted and racist that it comes through in every post you make.

  • @RABBIDRJERKINS

I appreciate your conviction and your use of scripture to back up your claims, however, I still assert that your claims fly in the face of evidence in the New Testament, and I would like to see you address the points I made in my post to HOLY GHOSTBUSTER.

Next, the Lord says no less than 14 times in Leviticus that he is speaking to the children of Israel. This implies that the Law was never intended for gentiles. When Jesus said that “not one title or jot” shall pass away until all had been fulfilled, he was saying the law will be in full effect until the entire law has been fulfilled, which he did, and abolished the sacrificial system, which was in itself part of the law. He could not abolish part of the law and leave the rest intact. He fulfilled the WHOLE law, and we reap the benefits of that.

    Read the following: http://www.gotquestions.org/abolish-fulfill-law.html

  • @HOLY GHOSTBUSTER

If you want to have a conversation about this, I’ll be glad to do so. One ground rule though, you’re already starting to be condescending and insulting in your initial post. If you can’t converse civilly, then please go troll someone else.

Now, that being said, no, I do not have an answer for everything. Some things I do have an answer for. Some of my answers are right, and some are wrong. I’m fallible just like anyone else.

The ten commandments are not the same as the mosaic law as described in the Pentateuch. Mosaic law was ceremonial in nature, while the ten commandments are moral in nature. Even though Jesus stated in the sermon on the mount that he did not come to abolish the law, he fulfilled it so we don’t have to.

The law was intentionally written in such a way as to make human imperfection obvious and reveal the need for Jesus. Animal sacrifice was used to atone for the inevitable misstep in the old testament, but Jesus was the final sacrifice on the cross thus eliminating the need for any future animal sacrifice.

Am I suppose to live in a kosher manner because it’s written in the law? Perhaps. I could be wrong. But I do not believe that to be the case. God has not revealed to my heart that eating shrimp is a sin. The holy spirit is here to guide us and convict us when we sin. I’ve been convicted plenty of times, but not for eating shrimp.

  • @RABBIDRJERKINS

I take issue with this statement: “Christians and Jews who follow the Scripture have never been a customer of the shrimpers”.

How can you be so knowledgeable about all your other points and miss the simple fact that the law does not apply to Christians? Jesus abolished the law when he died on the cross. If you‘re an orthodox Jew and don’t believe Christ was the son of God, well, I guess the law still applies to you, and you’re pretty screwed, because you can’t live up to the law.

From my point of view, as a Christian and a gentile, the law is basically a moral compass, nothing more. It’s not binding, and if I choose not to live in a kosher manner, that isn’t a sin.

  • @VOTEBUSHIN12

Right, because referring to a radio station who’s audience is almost 100% black as the “black station” is far more racist than saying something like, “White people are potential humans – they haven’t evolved yet”, right?

He put the work black in quotes because the radio station is known colloquially as the station that mostly black people listen to.

I love how you people call conservatives racist when they bring up a fact or a statistic that deals with race. Like it or not, race is a valid metric to use in statistics, and race does make a difference. If you want to have a reasonable discussion on whether that fact is due to genetics, culture, upbringing, or repression, I’ll be happy to indulge you, but stop with the straw-man arguments, ok? It just makes you look stupid.

  • @DR. MAGIC

I’m truly astounded by the ignorance of your statement. Yes, homosexuality is a sin, and just like any other sin, is the “spawn of Satan”, but you people treat it like it’s worse than any other sin. I’ve got news for you, it’s not. Sin is sin. Any sin dooms you to hell, were it not for Jesus. He loved sinners. That’s why he died to save us. And he loves homosexuals just like he loves you. You’re a liar, or a thief, or an adulterer, or maybe all of them. You’re not righteous, and you’re no better than a gay person.

You’re supposed to love your neighbor, and your place is not to judge.

  • @THOMAS

As soon as you say “Revelations says”, you lose all credibility. There is no book in the Bible named “Revelations”. If you had actually studied the Bible, you would know this.

  • @WEST COAST PATRIOT

I question your assertion. If what you say is true, why you do think so many people here identify themselves as conservatives or libertarians rather than Republican? Most here are somewhere between conservative and full on libertarian, and see the corruption in both parties pretty clearly.

It’s DC itself, and honestly, the entire system that is corrupt these days. It doesn’t matter which party one hails from, the machine is too big to change. I don’t know what the answer is, but I’m pretty sure Ron Paul, though he has some *really* good ideas, wouldn’t be enough to change it by himself, even if he were president.
