  I spent 14 months in Viet Nam as the RTO of a Recon Platoon. We carried all sorts of weapons, JUST IN CASE. I carried an M-16 and a 45 pistol, which I was good at shooting. However, when the sh- broke out, I could fire my 16 one handed as easily as the 45, with my other hand on the “mike”. Now, 42 years later, I always carry a weapon, JUST IN CASE. I carry lots of spare ammo, JUST IN CASE. BFD.

  Florida CWP holders are REQUIRED BY LAW (and as a requisite for getting a license) to inform any law enforcement officer who may pull you over, to FIRST inform him of the weapons you have in the vehicle. Here in FL, every time I’ve been stopped (too many) and informed the man of my weapons, THEY THANK YOU PROFUSELY. They really do. Each and every time.

  BTW In the real world, you really don’t want to have a standoff with a US NAVY SEAL. Civilian or law enforcement. They are trained HARD to react to perceived danger and there ain’t nuttin you can do about it. That’s a fact jack.

  I, too, heard the Glen Beck comment about Gingrich being a “PROGRESSIVE”. I like Glen but this one went WAY OVER THE TOP. Comments like that hurt his credibility.
