  I think what he meant was that Tip O’Neil and Reagan were adults. They were able to govern as adults. We have had a string of boy presidents (mosty thanks to the democrats) and a congress of mostly children as well since then.

  I don‘t know if Google can be held accountable for it but if Google doesn’t find a way to prevent it, the value of Google will be less.

  This man is a hero, or at least I will imagine he is one. Clearly his purpose in writing the letter must have been to show why socialism doesn’t work. If I was him, I would have done the same thing. Only a fool would work when someone is willing to pay you for doing nothing.

  I thought the Derbyshire article was insightful. I didn’t find anything he said to be objectionable. The facts he presented were true to the best of my knowledge. The advise he offered to his children was sensible.

  I found the Implicit Association Test the full interview mentioned to be very interesting and educational. I highly recommend that everyone take it. I had a strong automatic preference like Derbyshire.

  Yeah, I agree also. There was nothing unusal about the Trayvon Martin story either. Senseless deaths like that occur every day in this country. The media ignores most of them. It became a firestorm so quickly that it had to be an organized effort. I believe it was an attempt to try to help Obama win Florida. It is really sadl that some people would try to use a tragic death in that way. I don’t agree that anyone is trying to start a race war though. I just think they don’t mind playing with fire to achieve their ends. We have some very immoral people in this country. People like Sharpton.

  I don’t have a problem with the reporter using those words however. It was the truth and that’s all I ask for.

  I agree with you that what Arby’s did has nothing to do with the First Amendment. What Arby’s did was decide to align themselves with economic terrorists. The people behind StopRush are the same people who tried to silence Glenn Beck. Their goal is to slience anyone with whom they disagree by harming anyone who supports them. Their tactics are not unlike those employed by the Nazi’s and are abhorrent in a free society, and should be opposed by anyone who loves freedom.

  I agree. My trust in science has not changed. The vast amounts of pseudo science offered by the Academy, which we all know is dominated by liberals, who often subvert science to fit their political agendas, has just forced me to be skeptical of anything I am told is truth. Skepticism is afterall a hallmark of the scientific method.
