  @ teamarcheson What in the hell are you talking about? Please don’t post here anymore. You don’t make sense. And we all know that what the social structure was at that time. There were black free men at that time and there were white endentured servants which were like slaves… so to state stuff like he would not have been good for anything but answering the door makes you sound like a racist -

  TXSON – don’t blame weed on this one. I smoked enough in my day and I came out a conservative…many of my head banging – weed smoking compatriots are die hard conservatives. Now with kids, mortgage, careers…etc!

  @ Right….seriously??? The prejudice comments are disgusting today.

  There are people from all corners who take advantage of the system. Regardless of all of the nasty things that can be said about this teacher’s ideology and actions, she has been working for her living and to compare her to someone that has not is dishonest. Her vacation is ridiculous but cannot compare to those who live and die in the ‘system’ getting paid to raise more children that will be on the government teat for all their lives as well.
  To dwell on ‘who’ these people are does not matter, they are Americans – Color or race doesn’t matter…actions matter.
  The people making the laws that create these conditions are mostly ‘white’. I put parenthesis because I consider myself more of a peachy/apricot color and people upon seeing me would consider me ‘white’. I have 100% Hispanic blood. Not an ounce of Anglo, but I am pale with …yep…red hair. Judge a book by the cover lately?
  Are we really so hung up on what people look like still? Until we stop, no one else will. The long hair -fat guy comments are just as prejudice. My 16 year old has very long hair and has been called a Satan follower- especially by my fellow conservatives and Christians many times. Really?? Just because he has long hair and is a guy?   Sniper….Her color might make her seem more zealous, but do not mistake that the reason she still has her job is due to the same reason. Teachers and professors, especially in some states are impossible to fire. You know this as well. Don’t let color cloud YOUR vision. I have friends that are just as passionate and vehement in their defense of Obama of every color – the ‘white’ ones are some of the worst.
  Thankfully, one of my friends that speaks out against him the most is a black female. She voted for him because she knew nothing about him, but now that she does, she is fighting in her whole family and many many friends trying to set them straight about who he is.
