  What a foolish post. As VP, Cheney sent no one anywhere. The intelligence may have been proven to be wrong, but it was never phony. Every intelligence agency in the world agreed with our intelligence assessment. And your assertions about Halliburton are really stupid.

  There‘s a major fault in Pawlenty’s plan. Since the government can only create the environment for growth, it has very little input as to how the growth is realized. Five percent growth of GDP is not a goal. It’s a result. Declaring that he want 5% growth of GDP is Obamian nonsense. Maybe another candidate will declare 6% as their target and promise full employment, and real growth in wages. Afterall, if you’re going to promise us something, you might as well aim high.

  If we could convince about half of those people to quit looking for a job, the government will tell us that the unemployment rate is 4.5%. Problem solved.

  Rather than take the 8.9% at face value, let’s see how the total workforce numbers look. If it takes about 200,000 new jobs to break even, it sounds like more people gave up looking for a job.

  The animal was upwind and at a considerable distance. It didn’t hear the shots, or at least the shots weren’t loud enough to startle it. Some people should refrain from commenting when they don‘t know what the heck they’re talking about.
