  She actually did a pretty good 1/2 hour video visiting with various people in DE during the campaign. I think she had trouble getting it aired in time for the election but I saw it somewhere. At times she has done good TV, or at least better than Speaker Pelosi. At times she seems self absorbed and naive, if only she were more cynical and deceitful she maybe could make it in DC.

  It was a pretty dumb event. The music and camaraderie were the only things of value, it seems. They looked like a bunch of white college kids on their parents and Huffington’s dime.
  Lots of people ended up at anti-Vietnam rallies in DC much the same way. Everyone was going , you could see Chuck Berry or others and get loaded. Those buses were probably supplied by commies or some such group. They were scruffier than Stewart’s crowd.
  There was no real theme. Beck had spiritual renewal and many , many people changed a bit from this. I doubt much will come from Stewart’s event other than a few attendees coming to their senses about how stupid the whole thing was.

  Obama is a real danger to this country. Between “endowed by…..” ,“get in the back seat”, and now “punish our enemies(meaning US citizens) this is the mind of someone who never should be near the presidency. Those who voted for him owe the country an apology.

  Reform from within in the manner of St Francis of Assisi rather than revolt after the fashion of various heretic groups or the protestant reformation is a constant need of the Church. There is a reason the left wishes to destroy the Church. There is much more good than bad. It sounds like the blogs cited are on to something. I have been shocked by some of the liberal musings in the NCR. Liberalism has caused a lot of trouble in the mainline Protestant churches and Catholics are under constant attack.
