  • So just how involved was the U.N. in starting up and developing the internet? Not one little bit. The United States did it. Now the U.N. wants to worm it’s way into being in charge. Screw the U.N..

  • If we want things equal when it comes to physical ability, why have both male and female winners of marathon races? Why both male and female gold medal winners of events in the Olympics? Why both male and female teams? There is a male and female professional basketball league. Why not just have one open to both genders? Why is that? During races, who has the better times, males or females? Lifting weights, males or females? Jumping, males or females. Combat is the ultimate team sport but there are no awards for 2nd place.

  • Women in the Israeli Army? Yes, but not in their combat arms units. They are in support and security forces. There have been cases where they helped defend positions as part of security forces, but when a position is threatened with being over run, everybody fights. The Russians did have some all female combat units in WW2. Their casualty rates were approximately 50% higher then other all male units. The units were quickly taken out of the combat area. As Patton said, the idea is not to die for your country. The idea is to make the other poor bast*** die for his.

  • Upper body strength. Carrying heavy loads for hours and miles. Believe it or not, combat arms soldiers are not always just driven up to pre-dug fighting positions stocked with food, water, and ammunition and just have to fire their weapons at the enemy. Most of the time they have have to carry their supplies, ammunition, and weapons on their backs. Why is it that we never hear of women screaming that their PT tests should be exactly the same as males, and not by lowering the male PT test? What would be the response if the military decided to punish females who get pregnant while in a combat zone the same as they would a male who purposely injured themselves to get out of a dangerous situation? It shouldn’t be a matter of fairness. It shouldn’t be a matter of giving someone who wants to fight the opportunity to do so. I should be a matter of accomplishing the mission and not putting other people’s lives at risk in order to accommodate other people.

  • I know that the Democrats controlled both parts of Congress until 2010, and still control the Senate. I know that Obama has been President since 2008. So just how is it the Republican’s fault? Just how did they force Obama to sign those Bills into laws? To somehow try to lay the blame only on the Republicans is asinine especially when they only control 1/2 of Congress and not the Executive branch of the Government. Once again quoting Mr. B. Bunny “What a maroon”.

  • So just when did these Republicans do this? The Dems have been in charge of the Senate since 2006. The Dems had the House from 2006 to 2010, and Obama has been President since 2008, and some genius claims that is all the Republican’s fault. Obama didn’t want to sign those laws? Really? What did the Republicans do, threaten to call him a Big Poopy head if he didn’t? As Bugs Bunny would say “what a maroon”!

  • The self professed communist criticizing the Tea Party for wanting to destroy American institutions. You have to be kidding me. That’s all this clown has done for years.

  • When I was in the Army there were different standards for the PT test. Men had to do more pushups, sit ups, and run faster then the women. I believe that is still the case. Early in my career I was an M-60 gunner. The weight of all of my equipment, the machine gun, ammunition, and rucksack with food for 3 days and other items weighed 120 lbs. How many women could carry that much weight let alone walk mile after mile with it? So you get a few women in each infantry company if any. That means that those women need to have their own latrines, showers, and rooms in the barracks, or more importantly in the field. There were many occasions where I got a shower only when it started raining and I stripped down a took it in the open. Will woman be willing to strip down where maybe as many as 100 men can see them or will they need to be transported somewhere else where they can get cleaned up?

There are some things that need to be taken into account whether they are pc or not. Men are generally much physically stronger then woman, larger, more aggressive. Yes there are acceptations. There are men who are physically weaker, but most of them aren’t able to get into combat arms in the first place. There are also women who are stronger then many men, but how many? What would it cost and how much would have to be done during missions to accommodate them? If women can do the job without disrupting the combat readiness of a unit fine, if not, no.

  • I should have said it doesn‘t matter if they don’t have a weapon or don’t threaten you. The act of entering your bedroom is considered threat enough.

  • The law in Illinois, not Chicago, is if they break into your home and enter your bedroom then you have the right to use deadly force to defend yourself. The act of entering your bedroom by itself is justification. You are not required to give any type of warning and it doesn’t matter if they threaten you or have a visible weapon.
