  I truly believe the reason Gingrich has people like Sarah defending him is the following:
  1: there is a bloodlust in some parts of the conservative/tea party community to see Obama not just defeated, but having his butt kicked publicly by someone who can zing an zap him verbally to loud republican and hopefully enough swayable indies cheers in a debate and these folks see Newt as a Mike Tyson (debate wise).
  2: There is also an unfortunate view in many of the same circles that this is in some ways entertainment, like the way my wife watches women fight and argue on those stupid Real Housewives shows. This view plays into the above.
  Bottom line, Glenn has done more to expose the evils of progressives on the right and left in America than anyone else (incl Rush). The facts are clear by Newt’s own words. Three or four yrs ago we had an excuse to still vote for a Newt and still think we were truly small govt conservatives. Now anyone who has paid attention and done their homework has none. Unfortunately, I fear there may be too many who are willing to just toss all of the evidence aside to watch ” a WWE style steel cage death match between Obama an Newt. This will be like eatin a gallon of ice cream at once. It will feel good but you will regret it later.
  Principles first. Try to be GW. This election is too important to ignore the warnings. It won’t fix everything, but it will be a start.
