Failed ‘Mythbusters’ Stunt Sends Cannonball Shooting Through a Calif. Home, Minivan!
December 7, 2011 at 11:17am
Dublin, CA has houses built right up to the fence of Camp Parks, which isn’t all that big of a military reservation. I am surprised they still allow explosive detonations that close to a residential area. Having been on that range myself, I can attest to the fact it is tiny – suitable only for small arms – not cannons. I think they have to go much farther into the boonies for the really, big BOOMS, and I‘ll betcha they won’t be doing much at Camp Parks now.
Always get a charge out of the show, but they need to hire me, not only for my machinist expertise, but actual cannon crew chief experience, having fired many thousands of rounds (without mishap) out of a self-propelled 8″ howitzer – now THAT’S a cannon!
Mitt Romney Not Participating in Trump Moderated GOP Debate

Having watched The Apprentice a few times, I don‘t think I’d like to sit in that chair across from The Donald. He sure exposed Jesse James for the dumb jerk he is, and I was rooting for him up until then.
Whether or not it’s all just buzz for Trump, time will tell. I’ll be watching and I think the 3 who declined better be also.
Some Atheist Scientists Are Taking Their Children to Church — But Why?
December 5, 2011 at 3:43pm
Allowing children to chose almost always ends up with them making no choice. Religion of the parents, or lack thereof, is transferred to children. This is the ultimate “do as I say, not as I do.”
Donald Trump Lashes Out: George Will Is ‘Third-Rate’ & Ron Paul a ‘Joke’
December 5, 2011 at 3:38pm
Yes, Rep. Paul has a few things right, BUT he is off the chart goofy on others. If he’s is your ideal candidate, do the rest of us a favor and stay home on election day. You obviously shouldn’t be operating any machinery, either.
In this Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 photo American Cary Dolego stands in a hospital in the town of Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Cary Dolego, 53, who ran for governor of Arizona last year as a write-in candidate, traveled to Ukraine this spring to do research for an engineering project and look for a wife. While here he met a woman named Yulia online and, hoping to marry her, traveled to the town of Chernivtsi where she lived, but she never showed up. With nowhere to go and with no money left, Dolego spent days roaming the streets of Chernivtsi along with other homeless men until he was picked up by social workers, he told the Associated Press in a telephone interview from a hospital where he was being treated for pneumonia. Geeze, I live in AZ and I never heard of this putz. What an idiot! Is he the only guy in the world who doesn’t recognize what a scam these “lonely” wimmin from former Soviet Bloc countries are? 99% of them look like “Peggy” in the Discover Card commercials?
Black Friday Shootout: 55-Year-Old Woman Gets Shot, Returns Fire With Her Own Pistol
November 25, 2011 at 11:55am
Whether or not we agree on her ‘technique’ we all agree that a well armed citizen is the best deterrent to crime. My wife is a very good shot, but I‘m certain she would hesitate when it came to possibly taking someone’s life, as most of us would. If we didn’t, we would be no better than the ‘animals’ who prey on us. Even police, who train and train, really aren’t the best of shots in a highly charged situation.
Gabby Giffords and Husband Serve Thanksgiving Meal to Local Troops
November 25, 2011 at 10:16am
Here in AZ, the flagrant, cynical use of Gifford’s tragic shooting has exceeded all boundaries of decency & common sense – it is pathetic and pathological. In the meantime, AZ-8 has NO representation in Congress. She makes a great victim, but only dhimmicrats would protect a seat using someone suffering from a 9MM lobotomy.
Maybe she’ll do the “right” thing and retire with full benefits after passing the mandatory 5 years service in Jan, but don’t hold your breath. She obviously won’t be able to continue with her duties, except she’s a “D” and we’ve all seen how that party works after watching them roll in Sen. Byrd in on a gurney, ala Weekend at Bernie’s, and literally raise his hand for him so they could get enough votes to rape us some more with their Marxist/socialist agenda.
It’s a shame another leftist wacko shot her, but what’s a bigger shame is how her party is using her and her husband to protect a non-essential congressional seat at the expense of her voters. No GOP candidate would dare run against her – just the kind of odds dhimmicrats love.
Biography: Steve Jobs Regretted Delaying Possible Life-Saving Surgery
October 21, 2011 at 9:59am
So how effective was the poison and radiation treatment? I‘ve personally watched many loved ones go the medical establishments’ chemo/nuke route and it seems like a pretty horrible way to die to me. If and when I’m diagnosed with cancer, I’ll be seeking alternative treatments. I may die anyway but unlike Jobs, I‘m certain of where I’ll be in the hereafter.
Ron Paul Emphasizes Social Issues as the Veteran Congressman Finishes 2nd in Ames
August 14, 2011 at 9:56am
I completely discount any poll Paul is in because his followers have proven their ability to manipulate them. Note to Paulbots: just because you can vote 50 times in a online poll, doesn‘t mean you’ve increased your numbers 50 times. You’re still a tiny, fraction of the populous and your candidate is a kook! Find your way back to reality – your guy is going nowhere. You can’t build momentum on wishful thinking and stuffing the ballot box. Oh wait, that’s what Obama did….Never mind – we on the right aren’t buying it. The dumbest amongst us are smarter than any dhimmicrat.
And I do like some of what Rep. Paul says, but his isolationist views (among others) disqualify him in my mind. Now his son, that’s my guy.
