  • I don’t think they are really going to show up but it would be worth watching if they did. Conflict can be productive sometimes, other times it can just get really ugly. They had better bring the whole damn union and a couple more if they are going to crash that party though.

  • I hope that bible man kicks some atheist’s a$$. It’s freedom OF religion not freedom from it dimwatts.

  • The only reason Representative Ron Paul isn’t winning every contest is because most of the country still wants to hear that everything is going to be alright. They don’t want the truth, they don’t really want to cut all the entitlement programs down to size and shrink the size of government even with a 15 trillion dollar debt, a debt that will swallow us whole if significant cuts aren’t made. It is people like Romney and Gingrich and Obama that created this debt, it is people like Ron Paul that will keep fighting to change the course of Washington dramatically. I guess the concept of freedom escapes most modern day Americans (it doesn’t mean everything is free). Go back and play with your iphone, don’t concern yourself with the dismal realities that face us.

  • When singers like any other artists perform a song that they didn’t write they always create their own rendition or what-ever you may call it, even if the words aren’t changed something will be unique about the song. That is why they call it art. Remember when Jimmy did this song on his guitar? What a controversy that created. The fact that these men considered the song important enough to perform says it all.

  • If the roles were reversed on political parties this story would be about the racist overtones of Beckel’s comments etc..etc.. But instead it is about what is patriotic about telling someone that leaves the country blah blah blah. Here’s something to consider, this man laid his life down for his country and his soldiers, shouldn’t he have an opinion on what he considers detrimental to our values as a nation and to our future prosperity? After hearing the speech it was clear to me that it was their ideas and the creation of a culture of dependency that he was attacking not them personally. I guess everyone could interpret it differently but I liked the way he delivered it.

    In reply to rosie1000.

Representative Allen West isn’t afraid to tell us like it is, he thinks that we are smart enough and emotionally capable to handle the truth unlike most in Washington. Is he right? I see that even the people on the right side of politics (as opposed to left) are still voting for the plastic guy that will tell you whatever you want to hear avoiding the hard realities that might make us uncomfortable. I for one would rather hear the truth, it is unpleasant but it is also very necessary if we are going to save our union from an economic meltdown.

  • No one would watch a movie about Wiener and Bill will get to write his own script.

  • It was a very nasty remark, he does it on purpose to get people riled up and obviously that worked. It’s no excuse to make references to Obama and slavery, it just proves you are as small as mar or what ever that punks name is.

  • Anyone that thinks an airplane is a bad place for religion never had a rough flight.

  • Gov. Jan Brewer is surely going to be probed by the TSA next time that she flies for sure.
