  • But what many of you fail to realize, and I’m not being insensitive about this… is that tubby wouldnt have been shot if he wasnt over by the door pawing at a wall of potato chips. The mother might have well shot the kid herself if she let him get that morbidly obese (which need I remind people leads to yes, even fatalities among children as well as adults).

Hopefully the kid is ok and the mother learns to take care of her kid properly.

  • Ill be the first to comment on my own post. It seems based on the reactions and choice of words used in both subject line and article, as well as the usual negative RP press from the blaze that it was connoting that Ron Paul got boo’d.

Was it the intent to make it sound like RP was being boo’d in the subject line?

I will correct my post however in that after a second read, they meant passed over when it came to questions, not RP passing over a question thrown to him.

  • This article disgusts me. Lost much respect for the author of this article as well.

WHERE IS RON PAUL GETTING BOO’d? I have yet to hear it in any of those clips. To suggest he skipped over the question just means the author was perhaps to dense to even understand what he was saying or perhaps their confirmation bias was in control.

Then again, It might not be the author so much as a nasty editor with a bias to prove, even if it comes at the cost of moral and objective reporting.

This is a good way to get rid of blaze readers.

  • I have nothing against negative ads, because it goes both ways for both parties. I dont care who is funding them either AS LONG AS the negative ads contain factual information, not lies.

Maybe this will cause people to be more inquisitive and not be so easily manipulated by any type of propaganda.

Personally I would rather have a form of campaign finance that keeps all parties with the same amount of money, making the message more important rather than the deep pockets and legal bribes from special interest.

    The unions would hate it!

  • Turkey? Really? ****** me off seeing the islamic flag on that aircraft. Need to pick your allies carefully….turkey is NOT a friend.

  • @HoldingTheLineInTexas

Oh god, not “isolationism” again. That is rediculous. Do you even know what it means? Ron Paul stand for the exact opposite of Isolationism. He just believes our military should be at HOME, not in other nations. That we shouldnt give other nations our TAX PAYER DOLLARS for no reason other than that we just do to keep them friendly with us. He believes that our foreign policy and alliances should be focused on TRADE and ECONOMIC SUCCESS.

Tell me, which part of that says “Isolationism”?

There were no winners in the World Wars by the way. Europes socialism and now great debt and lack of nationalism is a result of that World War, and they were supposedly the “winners”. If you think we should be spreading ourselves thin, spending too much money we dont have in countries that hate us, then you have a serious problem. Perhaps you think its a good thing we rely on the Middle East for over priced oil? You really want them to have that kind of choker hold on this nation?

I dont agree with RP’s assessment of Islam and the nations that war via it, but Im not so quick as to demonize the good as you are. Nor will you see me make up silly rhetoric just because you have a confirmation bias against him. No president will have stances everyone agrees with. Make a priority and see who can get it done. Mine is restoring a sound monetary system and getting rid of bloated government institutions. I dont think RP will rule war out if its necessary btw.

  • The only reason Obama was asked about his pastor, and not as often as you pretend, was because the media was told to support Hillary Clinton. They needed to knock down her competition. When the memo came in that Obama is now the one to support, they began calling him the “messiah” among other things.

The way you use the term Right Wingers clearly must be a compliment, because its essentially recognizing the people which have a more accurate perception on reality.

  • Your post is equally as disturbed. People who know history know that the progressive creation of the federal reserve, FDR’s “New Deal”, and the start of playing war nation, has only hurt this country. These people understand that the only candidate not bought by lobbyist and campaign financiers is Ron Paul. Its a nice change than the illusion of choice you are used to getting.

Remember the US was a creditor nation. We lent money, we didnt owe it. Our allies were from trade and diplomacy not war. We always hesitated to join any war just prior to the World Wars, now we rush into it and put up bases in every far reaching corner.

Ron Paul is more sane than you are by far. You dont have to agree with him 100%, i dont think anyone does. I cant find any candidate I can do that with. But give him some proper respect as an adult and stop insulting the people that see the good he can do.

  • Only a nut would call Ron Paul a nut. He is quite sane and very intelligent. He follows the pre world war mindset to a T. He is the only candidate offering significant policies to remove the problems we face and their source, not just putting a bandaid on it.

Could you say Abe Lincoln’s temperment didnt qualify him to be president? What about any other president in the last 100 years? It is totally subjective as to what defines the perfect temperament. The irony is in the fact that all are humans and will never be perfect or someone you agree with 100% of the time.

His stance on iran is in my opinion not very good, but this is also because we live in a post “interventionalist” america in which the US has to play “world police”. Thats no good either. His ideology keeps him consistent, even if he may not like or agree with it entirely. Furthermore, our allies need to learn to stand up from time to time. We have no money to keep up this world policing.

  • competition helps the consumer and spurs innovation. Corrupt government hates that idea.
