  Well said bitter: I’ve spent the last 2 yrs in Washington, on the phone, and have spent thousands to try and stop these people and to restore some sanity to this country. You didn’t mention it in your comment, but my biggest disappointment has been the apathy of the citizens; I work with highly educated decent people, and their chief concern is dancing with the stars or their recent facebook entry. I‘m convinced that we’re going to have to have a complete crisis to bring about any change; I presume it isn’t too far off.

  I can‘t say that I’ve ever seen anything like this at one of those terrible violent tea party events; a DC cop at the restoring honor event told me that it was “the biggest and most respectful crowd they’ve ever had at the mall”. By their fruits you will know them, right?
