  I swam with one about 8 miles off the Florida east coast in 1990. We were fishing out of Stuart and spotted it basking on the surface. I slipped into the water with a mask and snorkel and was able to stay within about 10 feet of it for about 1/2 hour. Probably more like 5 minutes, but it seemed like a 1/2 hour !!
  Saw 2 other ones in the 12 years I lived down there, they both slipped away. Very gentle and very cool.
  I swam with three Manatees and numerous Sea Turtles, but nothing was as cool as that dude, or dudette ( couldn’t tell :) )

  For your edification. ChiCom. A noun. The government of a huge country with a huge military, located in Asia. The sole purpose of said government is to continue the enslavement, the butchery, the murder and torture of its citizenry, and the propagation of its own ideology and welfare over the welfare of it’s citizens.

  The problem is the Theocracy in power, not the average Iranian. I imagine 99% of the population of Iran wants the same things we all want. Safety for their families, peace, a chance to better their lot in life thru hard work and ambition. And a good meal ( maybe a cold beer ? ) after a hard days work.
  Let’s nuke the theocracy, save the blood and treasure we wasted in Iraq, and then all have a B.B.Q.
