  40 ml of 40% alcohol, diluted into 8 to 10 oz and drunk by a child 50 – 100 pounds. When my 6 yr old daughter was run over and rolled down a hill by a 250 pound man on a sled, i ‘ran’ her to the hospital ER. Maybe my sense of danger is not fine-tuned enough, but this incident seems like drama for its own sake.

  Im 53, my father gave me beer from about 6 years on, a sip here and there. No big deal. This was an accident. Why would these people make a show of this by going to to the hospital ensuring the person lost her job, when they could have simply laughed this it off? The hospital? Turds¡

  Police intervention is simptomatic of many an ill in our society. Neither am I going to restrain such a child because society will punish me if I do. Tazers come to mind and George Zimmerman, presumed guilty with scant evidence by many. We are being trained to allow the authorities to control us. Dovetailing our willingness to be controlled; our betters are arming themselves for who knows what, but it ain’t good.

  i live in bolivia and chew coca leaf anytime, legally. dont care for pot and i dont do any other drugs besides my asthma medicine. i am as right wing conservative as anybody and even more so a fundamentalist christian and i don‘t see the sense in making any of god’s herbs illegal.

  @ the PP website we find this bit of convoluted nonsense: “We are religious leaders who value all human life. We accept that religions differ about when life begins. We are here to help. We believe that human life is holy. That’s why we believe in your right to choose to be a parent or not.” Translation: we do not value all human life– neither the unborn nor born.
