  It’s not the idea of what they did IF it was done correctly. I played high school football all 4 years back in the 70′s. During a pep rally they blindfolded about 8 of us players and brought us out on the gym floor. They told us one of the cheerleaders were going to kiss us. Of course, we all wolf whistled and thought oh yeah. Then someone kissed us on the CHEEK and we all hooped and hollered … simple, good clean fun. They told us to take our blind folds off to see who kissed us. There stood my mom and every other player’s mom. The whole gym roared in laughter and so did we. What we did THEN was TOTALLY different. WTH is this passionate on the mouth crappola??? REALLY??? We have an entire generation of parents that don‘t even understand even the simplest of boundaries or what’s in bad taste. They seem to not be even remotely aware that there’s a higher mandate than that. That what YOU did as parents was WRONG! Yes, that is incestuous and so far off the scale that I can’t even remotely begin to wrap my mind around how any parent could do THAT. . Eeeeeeew!!!

  The missing piece of video most likely holds the truth. Still, I can definitely see where the story given by police may very well be true. I lived in Memphis for 10 years (too long) and on many occasions you’ll run into crowds of black kids basically holding the street hostage by refusing to move by standing or even sitting in the middle of the street. They will literally challenge you to run them over, mouth off, and move just enough that you can get by them by mere inches. Always made me feel like it was a challenge “whitey” thing. I was in the grocery store parking lot in that hell hole of a city pushing my cart out to the car when a young black girl came up on my in her car yelling at me for being in her way while I was in the yellow lined, speed edged crosswalk to the parking lot. Screeched up to within 12″ of me and the cart at which I stopped, turned right at her and said, “pedestrians have the right of way, chill out”. All I got back was attitude accompanied by, “I don’t play dat”. Most likely this girl was dishing out some of that same attitude … IMO … taze away bro!

  Cofemale I have no issue with you. You get it! I’m not confused simply read statements made by: Battlecarrot, Sheris, Plainview, etc. etc. There are plenty on here who will say, “well at least we don’t cut off their heads and treat homos like Islam does”. I‘m reasonably convinced that’s only because you can still go to jail or get the death penalty for murder in this country. I syy judge a man / woman by their character and not their sexual preference. I’ve always lived my life like that long before it became a conservative bumper sticker. You can easily see that there are plenty of folks on here who lash out viciously at anyone that doesn’t fit their neat and ordered view of how things should be or are supposed to be in their world.

  All the current candidates CAN beat Obama. The only way the one chosen will be defeated is if WE don’t get behind that candidate and fractionalize our influence as united voters. Yeah, the candidates may not be ideal (are they ever really) but I’ll take ANY one of them over Obama.

  Not implying anything Scarlet just stating my opinion. I’m a married hetero of 33 years. The viciousness of peoples statements on here just because the guy is gay amazes me. The hair trigger willingness to deny this man of the same rights we heteros enjoy just because he’s gay is amazing to behold. Many of these folks will wrap themselves in their faith and use it as their excuse to treat others in a manner that is 100% contradictory to what Jesus had to say and admonished his followers to do. Yeah, the Bill of Rights and Constitution are based on Christian ideals but that does not make them additional books of the Bible. If someone is going to wrap themselves in both religion and the Bill of Rights / Constitution then they need to stop and remember the line “We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal”. Equality was the founding father’s intent even though we obviously fail miserably at applying that notion equally.

  How many of you homophobes on here personally know even 1 gay or lesbian person? Yeah .. that’s what I thought. For those of you waving your Christianity around, your savior ate with the lepers and hung out with a prostitute. I think you were admonished to follow the example and love your enemy! What a bunch of hypocrites and I’m conservative. Do you want the criminal politicians in the cesspool that is Washington to dictate and legislate morality? If you do the Taliban is looking for a few good men. This guy put his life on the line for his country and we repay him by doing our best to deny his personal pursuit of happiness. Nice! The Fed has ZERO business in anyone’s bedroom. The pols use homosexuality and abortion to keep you distracted from the very real and critical issues. Do you really want a constitutional ban on gay marriage? Let the states decide. I agree that marriage is between a man and woman BUT I 100% believe that gays should be allowed civil unions in front of a JOP. So many of you stereotype others. In your opinion if they’re gay they must be pedophiles and drug addicts too. As chance would have it I know a lot of gays and lesbians. The majority are dedicated, hard working people that prefer monogamy just like you. If 2 people dedicate their lives to each other when one dies the one left should most certainly be due any benefits that any heterosexual couple is. Why is that so hard understand. Stop reacting emotionally and use your head for once.
