  Social Security is “Successful Socialism”? How so? It’s broke. It places the burden of payment on the working stiffs to pay out to those that are retired. They raided the so called “lock box” back in the late 50′s and never looked back.

  Medicare is “Successful Socialism”? Again– how so? It’s another bankrupt system that relies on the current working stiffs to shoulder the load and to rely on unchecked debt to fuel the machine.

  It all comes down to one thing. Socialist believe the ‘masses” are too stupid, cruel and greedy to help take care of the least among us. What they don‘t get is that when you stifle individual freedom and take away the incentive to work people become so dependent on government that they forget to help their neighbor because they think it’s the government’s job to do so. They abhor religion but themselves seek to make government our ultimate caregiver.

  @Breaker 19 – Absolutely Correct. And I’ll add this: His remarks were not just for those who are homosexual but also those that adulterate, fornicate and are consumers of pornography. All of these sins constitute sexual deviancy and can be healed through the mercy, grace and love that is in Christ Jesus. The problem really is not totally in the sin. Sin really is only a symptom of the overall issue. It is our reluctance and sometimes inability to allow Him to save us that keeps us mired in sin and “self doubt.”

  I know many that have strong sexual desires both ways that have overcome their sins because they have given them to Jesus to carry.

  If he has no honor in the way he gets elected, how can he be trusted whilst in office? Any who are for these tactics and are willing to turn a blind eye are as dishonorable as this man and have no credibility.

  The author clearly is of the Ruling Class of America. The kind where we get our rights not from a all-powerful creator but from government itself. This line of thought begs the age old question: If rights are granted by government they can they not then be denied by government?

  The author then tries to paint Thomas Jefferson as a religious skeptic, trying to make us believe that the foremost of our founding fathers was unsure about his own belief in God. The fact of cousre is that he was skeptical of organized religion but was a fervent believer in Nature‘s God and Nature’s Law.

  I believe Glenn’s intent is to help all of us of so many religious backgrounds that we have one common thread in our belief in God…that is that he is real, he is in the very details of our lives, ghat we should worship him with all our hearts and that Rights come from Him and Him alone and that he will never take them away from us.
