  Here we go again, being manipulated by our enemies. The progs can treat our military with disdain because they do not need them. When the pedal hits the metal they are going to completely capitulate and the ragheads are going to be totally in charge. The only reason they have not yet done so is they cannot believe how easy it is and they are suspicious. Where is John Wayne and as TxFrog said, Audie Murphy!!!!

  My dog could no longer function and I HAD to put him down six years ago and there is not a day goes by still that I don’t miss him. I have a long list of people I would put down before any dog, tho yesterday the little yapper next door almost moved up. Usually the old man lets him bark for a minute or so then shuts him up but he went on for close to a half hour, waking me from a well deserved nap. I almost called the cops to come and see if the old man had a heart attack or something. But I digress, I meant to say that a half decent dog is a hundred times better than most folks gracing this earth.

  Everything can be racist if you have a mind bent to seeing thru the prism of color. I thought this chick was elected by the people and for the people. It seems a preponderance of blacks !believe they were only elected to further the black cause, you know, like cell phones for welfare recipients in Philadelphia and the push for free diapers. A computer for every “poor” child which I believe is a code word for black child. Two can play this game and while I was not born prejudiced or raised that way in the past few years I have become more and more each day. That is what all their effort has done for me and I fear I am not alone.

  Mormons do not have killing infidels as part of their religion. That’s enough for me to let them get on the religion train. You all can quibble religious philosophy all you want but I support anything that makes you a better person and the Mormons have done a fine job with that as well. Leave them alone and let them practice freedom of religion while we still have it.

  He graduated the naval academy. He has an excellent education. He is already miles ahead of his counterparts in the NFL. Sounds like he also has a case of maturity going on which is rare for professional athletes!

  Anyone cerebral enough to connect nail salons with Asians should at least take it a step farther and identify which Asians they are besmirching. Or do they really all look alike?

  So parents are stupid if they don’t have a degree in education. Too stupid to teach. They are probably smart enough to know the key to making a smart child. Teach them to read and understand the directions before they begin a task. Most bad education is laziness and carelessness. I won’t even address the unschooled portion of our program, because if anyone believes this is a good idea we don’t need them in this discussion. All educating is is dissemination of information from several sources into a child. That can be done in a variety of ways. The beauty of home school is being able to find the best way and use it to teach. Public schools can’t do that, they have to use the shotgun approach.

  As to more money for more teachers and smaller classes only a fool knows the money never gets down to the classroom. There are superintendent’s offices to decorate and exotic seminars for teachers and especially the hoards of administrators stuffed into a building as far away from any school as possible. All of the answers are obvious, it just isn’t convenient to ask any questions.

  One fat person here daring to speak. This guy’s attitude maybe off the mark but reading thru the comments I was dismayed to see the delight taken in everyone piling on fat people. We are consumers just like anyone else and the statistics for fat folk are rising here every year. To the point we are a “large” segment of society. And while we do not have a right to special seating, many restaurants and fast foods have quietly changed their seating to individual tables with plain sturdy chairs that accommodate anyone. Perhaps you do not want fat folk in the same restaurant as you the restaurants can’t afford to be so picky. Our consumer base is dwindling rapidly as our economy continues to falter. What if fat people decided not to buy other things, perhaps the product you were selling at your company? Our society is so splintered now one can’t deny the possibility. And if after reading these gleeful comments I knew what you owned and sold I could find a way not to support your enterprises, I certainly would. Read over the comments again and think school yard.

  There are veteran’s homes in most every state. My grandchildren and I make thank you for your service cards and every month we send a box to two of them, residents ranging from 80-345 in each. I am a shut in and this is all I can do to honor our service people. And it is a way for me to share my respect for our service people with my grands and impress on them how important it is to remember their service and sacrifice for all of us and to give something back, as small of a gesture as this is.
