  Taxing churches is a great idea. One half to a quarter of the average city has untaxed land. They should be able to write off good deads directly like meals, and clothing for the poor. When they are just having church and collecting tons of money they should pay. People like Benny jinn, the church of Satan, they should pay taxes. How much charity does the church of Satan do? Why not write the good deeds off as a tax exemption. Italy is taxing its churches now.

  If hell and and heaven exist where are they? The bible says when the windows of heaven open it rains. Obviously heaven is not directly above us, so where is it? Why isnt it where the bible said? We have scanned the earth and mapped it. There is no hell. If so, the location please.

  Well, it’s always entertaining to see what some knuckleheads post about reason rally. Mostly it’s a big get together. They speakers and stuff it’s not really training masses of atheists. I am an atheist, and no this country was not founded “under god” that was added a hundred a fifty years later and nothing our founding fathers wanted.
  No, I am not going anywhere, either are any other atheists. We are here to stay in our secular country.

  Did it occur to anyone Catholics believe communion bread and wine literally turn into Jesus? They even have special pipes leading from the picsina or basin where they wash the vessels to the ground so Jesus doesn’t end up in the sewer.

  These are hospitals, not churches. This business should subject to the same rules as everyone else. If they got away with this, all their non catholic employees would have catholism pushed on them. Too bad the church is not as passionate about molested kids.

  @DJ-DOUG-DJ yep, people obviously don’t realize that is discrimination. and @ALECTO the supreme court actually ruled atheism as a religion, even if they didn’t its still blatant discrimination.
