  Tough to reproduce in your 50′s.the Republic party is not dying but the neo contact side aging rapidly. The party name will be the same in 30 years but it will have a libertarian edge. Wish I were younger to see it.

  I love when GB “dissects” stories for us. It is exactly like when sportscasters try to discuss the business side of sports,way over their heads and they have to reduce issues to the simplest form so they sound like they have a clue. GB should go back to his Carnac act, at least then he can say it is still coming and will come true eventually.

  It appears that hockey’s passion might be a little too much for Mr Seidl. Maybe the blaze could have him cover tennis or sailing, even baseball or football are likely too excitable for his dear heart. Hockey is the only left with true athleticism, passion, and toughness. Oh yeah it actually has 60 minutes of actual play unlike football with its 12 minutes of action spread over 3 hours.

  Badoggy, we could learn a little fiscal management from our friends to the north. Until the crisis of 2008 forced spending, they had run a balanced budget for more than 10 hears. Austerity when things are good is something we could learn, and it gave them the flexibility to react to the necessities brought on in 2008/9. Now before you tell me to move there, you should know I make my living from investment in the Canadian oil patch and spend lots of my business life in Calgary. It is a great place to do business and a very conservative province without all the social conservative baggage. And I get to see the odd hockey fight.
