Can you blame him? Look at that beauty! I’d have done the exact same, but likely died.

  • We do this in Canada. I won’t get to vote in this election, but every one of us has to show ID when we vote. Is that strange? I live in America but obviously haven’t voted here! I wish I could. I haven‘t received an absentee ballot so I’m not sure what I would have to provide, likely the same as the Kansas description, copy of ID.

  • When considering the facts in an unbiased manor, such as Dershowitz’ The Case For Israel, one’d be hard pressed to come up with a rebuttal that holds much water. Chomsky, Said, and other prominent critics have never dared to stand up in public debate or even discussion. When the Lord is on your side the rest of the world is against you it seems. It’s a test, a test that America and Israel face together. The two nations on earth that stand for righteousness. Feels as if America is losing its test in the political spectrum, but it‘s the rest of you who continue to stand with Israel in prayer that I believe is keeping the Lord’s favor on your nation. Keep it up, the best fights are the ones hardest to fight, the ones most worth fighting. Keep your eyes on the prize!

  • I’m just wondering, are Clancy’s books very pro-American? I know of Flynn and Brad are, but Clancy?

  • What an idioto! And against my Habs none the less. NHL has some goons, but these playoffs have been amazing, lots yet to come!

Bro, there‘s no chance that with a Harper majority he’d take on healthcare. It’d be political suicide. Too many Canadians see our system as superior to the US and many others. Of course we on this website know the truth, but the average guy has no clue. For Harper to reform it minorly and only tweak in certain areas might be fine, but to take it on as his main project will not happen in the next 4 years with a majority. There’s too much room for error, and he’s interested in ruling for as long as possible, so if that happens look for it way down the line.

Buddy, Canadians are still extremely respected world wide, don’t kid yourself. Next time you go to France throw on your Canadian touque, hoodie, and back pack for your own good.

Exactly, but we never will adopt the greatest document ever written. Liberal Canadians are too hard headed and arrogant to adopt a document they see as being written by the most hard headed and arrogant nation on the planet.

  • Some interesting views going on here. I’m Canadian, go to school at Ole Miss. Too many thoughts to write down right now at 1:30 am, but we trust Harper and slowly the majority of country will too. It takes time to change views that are so entrenched, which was described in the above article. He’s doing his best, with an iron fist, granted, but he is the best. I doubt my absentee ballot will make it here so I’ll do my best to nudge my liberal friends in the right direction. Maybe the best thing about our political make up is that we have so many parties to split the left vote in the first place. I can’t foresee a challenging right wing party springing up even though every election some try to, to no avail. God bless the NDP, Lib, Green Party and Bloc for guaranteeing us a minority every time through utter lack of unity and chaos. Jack Leighton’s hard headedness is maybe a blessing in disguise now that I think of it.

  • Seriously? Jaded? I’m hoping that was sarcasm. Individual reward and pursuit of individual goals is what America is based on. He should realize that he should be recognized/rewarded for success.

Some great comments in here though. Blaze readers crack me up.

I hope he gets the right opportunities and has the right people looking out for him.

I’m no scientist, not even close, but I always imagined someone scientifically proving creation etc. Interested to see what he can get credit for in the future.
