  I like the photo for the link to this article showing a farmer harvesting wheat. I‘ve lived in Iowa for 42 years and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a wheat field here. I think they’re getting us confused with Kansas.

  By now people should know better and take these things with a grain of salt. A while back they took a clip of Beck quoting Woodrow Wilson to paint him (Beck) as a racist even though if you heard more than the one sentence it was blatantly obvious he was exposing Wilson’s racism. Then there’s the Michelle Bachmann quote about Minnesotans being “armed and dangerous”. They ran with that even though it was obvious she was talking about being armed with information. These liberal twits can’t come up with anything without taking something out of context, but their flock will swallow anything they feed them.

  I love how they try to play both sides here. If climate change existed to cause the fall of the Roman Empire then climate change is a natural phenomenon not man caused, yet they use this to warn us of the dangers of man cause climate change. Seems like a circular argument to me.

  Assuming there was some way to actually enforce this (which is a ridiculous assumption in the first place), wouldn’t that just make the wackos take the Charles Whitman route? Whitman killed 14 and held police off for over 1 1/2 hours but he didn’t need to come withing 1000 feet of anybody.
