  Maybe its a sign that folks should, maybe, turn off the darned thing and oh, I dunno, have a conversation with their family members first thing in the morning. I know when I was growing up tv wasn’t on for most meal times and it was always nice to talk with my dad before he left for work.

  @kindsoul yes but legalization of Marijuana will sink the pharmaceutical industry. It was made illegal originally because Nylon cannot compete with Hemp in strength or in manufacturing costs. Now the same companies, like Dow Petrochem, work ceaselessly to flood the media with disinformation all for the protection of their profits at the cost of our health. Instead of a CBD tablet with ZERO side effects for pain they would rather force you to take chemically engineered heroine, plus the three pills that will counter act its side effects (one of which may cause sudden death) and a quick trip to the rehab center once you are done and need to get off their crap. Doctors once upon a time took an oath to do No Harm. Too bad their oaths now are to Pfizer, Dow, Bayer, Obama and anyone but the patient.

  The disconnect comes because Beck is a rapturist. He believes that Israel needs to be given the entirety of the “holy land” so they can rebuild Solomon’s Temple which in turn, according to them, will summon Jesus Christ to descend from the heavens on his cloud and rapture them all. He and his believe that we must go to war for the sole purpose of committing genocide so that this glorious day can come.

  As with people, each individual animal is different. With a Black Bear typically you want to make as much noise as possible, be as big as possible, and stand your ground, as long as there is no cub around. If there is a cub you want to slowly and deliberately back away because momma bears are not very sociable lol. Grizzlies, I have heard play dead, and you‘ll be lucky with some contusions and broken ribs as long as it isn’t hungry. If its hungry, you stand as good a chance making a stand as you do lying down because a bear, like most predators, are opportunists and have no qualms about scavenging.

  People usually take what they want from books. Its one reason why the establishment hates people that can read, why the teacher’s unions refuse to teach your children critical thinking skills, why the Catholic church kept a stranglehold over scripture for over 1000 years. It’s why people like Vonnegut can write a short story like “Harrison Bergeron” and still be called a spokesperson for the left. :)
