  You got the talking points. First the govt broke the law by cheating bond holders out of their rights as established by law. Bond holders include fireman/teacher/police pension funds and others. Why there hasn’t been a lawsuit against the govt is beyond me. GM has NOT paid back all the money and the govt stock ownership has not yet reached break even. There is no way it could be proved that Bain’s purpose was to load the co. with debt just to bankrupt them. That is ridiculous. They could make much more money if the co. was successful. I am confident that Bain at least obeyed the law, while the govt made up their own rules to reward the unions.
