  • Utah wins :) Go Mormons!

  • This is the dumbest thing I’ve heard of. We should be able to fine the Feds $0.75 a day per federal employee for every day the budget goes unbalanced.

  • 10,000+ murders committed in this country each year…and this is the one we choose to blast all over the news? I don’t give a damn about what happened either way…get this off my television and show me another trailer for the Dark Knight movie.

If you asked for my personal carry firearm during a routine traffic stop I would adamantly refuse. Unless you’ve got a warrant, or fear for your safety, or have reason to suspect it’s been used to commit a crime, you are in violation of the 4th amendment. I’ll let you check my permit but the gun stays snugly in my holster. My gun is not your gun…you’ve never shot my gun before. You aren’t well practiced in the “make-safe” procedure for my gun and are totally unaware of the type and functions of any safety features I may have on my gun. I’m not going to give a loaded gun to a total stranger just because he has a badge and asked politely. That‘s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. I would refuse and if you had a problem with it I’d insist you arrest me so that we could fight it out in front of a judge. Don’t ever ask a law abiding citizen to surrender a firearm, even temporarily. My state even has a law allowing LEOs to refuse an order from a superior to relinquish a citizen of his legally owned firearms. If you can refuse the order….so can I.

If you asked for my gun during a traffic stop I would demand that you provide a warrant or that you arrest me for assault with a deadly weapon(which i obviously didn’t do so the arrest would be totally unfounded). That’s the only way you can take possession of my gun without violating the 4th amendment. My gun is safer in my holster than it is in your hands. I’m guessing you carried a Glock on duty…which I don’t carry. I would never hand someone a loaded gun of a make and model they aren’t familiar with. That‘s almost as stupid as you asking me to hand a loaded gun through my car window to a guy I’ve never met just because he’s wearing a badge and asked nicely. Sorry dude, no way.

  • Burn. In. Hell.

  • I’m 4 years into my 5 year engineering degree. I make $49K a year interning at a major defense contractor during the summers and doing design work for caterpillar during the school year. I already have two extremely competitive offers in different fields waiting for me. Unemployment is at a 10 year high? Look at the stupid @$$€$ that chose the liberal arts majors. Science and engineering degrees mean job security. Arts, English, and history mean, “do you want fries with that?” Kids need to sit down and think of all the jobs they would like to do, look at how much that person makes, what degree they had to earn, and how many positions nation wide currently exist for that job. They need to weigh all of that before picking a major. Communications, political science, psychology, and English majors are just a waste of time and money.

  • Wow…

  • That’s a Book Of Mormon quote, not biblical LOL

  • It wasn’t communist judges…it was the U.S. Supreme Court. Religion in state funded schools is clearly a violation of separation of church and state. An optional course on biblical history from an objective and secular perspective is fine.andatory prayers however, are not.
