  It‘s only recently I think I’ve got him figured out – he‘s the OPPOSITE of Bill Clinton in that Slick always supposedly ’felt OUR pain’ but this guy is making us feel HIS pain. He’s a narcissist who grew up in a totally dysfunctional (but well heeled) family and has absolutely no connection to anything American – that‘s why he doesn’t understand Americans – prior to starting his own family. So all he’s trying to do is make US as dysfunctional as his life has been and only knows one vehicle to make that happen – markcyst teachings.

  I‘m not a lawyer or theologian but I’m reasonably certain that when the Ten Commandments were written they quite literally WERE ‘the law’. I don‘t know how old you are or where you grew up but there used to be ’Blue Laws’ in many states that required stores to be closed on Sundays. Adultery was until about 100 years ago taken quite seriously in some places in the country as against the law. So you see where this has gotten to? You evidently think that these are the TWO Commandments and the EIGHT Suggestions. I guess we all should really HOPE that #6 & 8 hold the line and don’t CHANGE. I think you may need to read up on history and religion. OMG – Change before it’s totally HOPEless.

  So I concede, you win the argument. But this isn‘t solely about an ’argument’. You still deny Jesus, and I still believe. Let’s walk away with beliefs intact. My argument is poor. That‘s really all it’s about with you guys. You MUST win the argument. And what becomes of me and Christians who refuse to accept your ‘winning’ IF say you and atheists are the ones ‘in charge’ say? Your desires for others to not believe in something (that YOU SAY doesn’t exist-huh?) are tantamount to wanting ‘thought control’ and even though I haven’t been in church but a few times in years, doesn’t mean I would EVER allow you to take away my FAITH AND HOLY BIBLE. I’ve asked this question before and I don’t think I’ve been ‘convinced’ by any atheist (it’s all about convincing right – not a SELF determination right?) JUST WHAT AND WHERE DO YOU DERIVE YOUR SELF WORTH AND VALUES FROM? From the WORLD? From those of us imperfect ‘occupiers’ of the world? If I decided I wanted to start a club that believed in web-footed purple zombies and asked you to join, would you then try to control my THOUGHT (and belief and SPEECH) ON THAT? You say ‘Of course not’ that would be violation of MY Civil Rights. Well that’s where you all are headed in case you haven’t noticed. I’ve never felt before that the few atheists I knew meant me and mine, and fellow Christians harm, but the world’s changing fast. I’ll pray for you and IF unfortunately necessary, be ready for whatever.
