  I think you missed the point. You need to put her comments in context to the book she read and her ability to relate it to today. This is not a race issue. It is an oppressor issue. The government has become the oppressor of us all, or at least they are giving it the best shot they can. She is demanding a better education and is frustrated at the lack of effort. I am not offended by a single word she says. It is a systemic failure!

  The essay was incredible. After reading that book all of our vocabularies would be expanded. I understood what she meant right away after reading the entire essay. The “white teacher” represented the oppressor and the “student” the slave. Education and intelligence is the enemy of the oppressor. The point is dead on. The “dumber” we are, the easier we are to control. Jada is boldly and bravely demanding the truth be taught and teachers actually do their job and provide education. The pitiful failure of the education system can easily be shown if you ask a high school graduate to handwrite an essay.

  Failure IS an option. If a child can’t read, they have to be held back. If they continue to be held back, then off to continuation school they go. What is the punishment for ignorance in school today? Nothing! Keep pushing the dummies along. As Jada stated, then you are stuck with a bunch of “unteachables” that can never succeed. The system must be overhauled. HOME SCHOOL?

  Side Note: Last October I was watching my friends children. On our way home from school they were talking about the “Black” man that killed MLK… I quickly corrected them. They replied their teacher said BLACK. I called her on it. She said she had been teaching for 20 years and had told children James Earl Ray was BLACK all these years. She apologized and said she would correct it. And that is current US History! HORRIBLE! Pay attention to your kids education!!!!

  Avigdor, I understand your point about all the show ponies and weekend warriors. The work they do is needed. But here we are 10 months after Joplin and they are still in need. My service group via the Restoring Courage Israel group is going to Joplin next month to serve for a week. We can not forget the needs do continue and those that can help should. “Labor of Love Joplin” April 9-13, 2012 will be incredible. We are a group of people that met in Israel for 8/24.   Good job BSofA! People need to be called out for their disgusting behavior. Rioting over a “FOOTBALL COACH” getting fired and not celebrating a child molestor getting caught? These DUMB kids are upside down, and so is the news van now! Congrats to all you Penn State parents who are paying for that crap! Expell them all and take all those phones into evidence for the criminal case. That would shake them up when they realize standing by and taking video of a criminal act could cause their phone to be taken as evidence.

  It should tell you a little something that they arrested both of them. The passenger sure is not drunk driving…. could that have been for drunk in public? Thank goodness I was not the officer pulling over another patrol vehicle. That is embarassing. By the way, I have never driven my patrol car while impaired! In 23 years of law enforcement, I have never heard of anything like this.

  The growing mob mentality is dangerous. I’ve heard multiple times in the media and on TV shows only white people can be racists. I don’t believe the rule of law when it comes to hate crimes sees it the same way. All suspects involved in this case should be charged with hate crimes! Be aware and vigilant when in large groups. Protect yourself, you family and each other. Notify officials as soon as you see something even starting. This was a race driven attack by a mob of black racist teens, period!
