  • This is absolutely ridiculous. I hope the ACLU has their way on this one. This is a college kid, who got tracked simply because of his father’s religion and because he lived in Egypt for a while. I know a ton of CHRISTIANS who are from Egypt, and it was his FATHER who was the only one affiliated with any Muslim groups. No radical group affiliations at all, which by the way isn’t a crime anyway. Absolutely ridiculous.

  • Everyone knows Glenn Beck is just crazy! Why is he crazy? Well, just open your eyes America, it’s obvious! It‘s so obvious we don’t even want to get into it. We’re not going to get into it. If you’re seriously defending Glenn Beck, you must be crazy or racist.

Hah, right. Some evidence please? :D

Everyone loves to hate Glenn beck and hates to say why.

  • Hey, it’s comedy. Comedy is often designed subtly to discredit something. If you’re offended or upset, it‘s because you strongly believe in what’s being made fun of. But, we already know that a lot of people are trying to discredit 8/28. So, I say let them have their humor, no one’s going to take it for a serious argument. Respond to the other criticisms of 8/28, even if they seem…. just as laughable :D

  • I’m getting sick of the mainstream media acting in such a reactionary way everytime something happens that they think might possibly go against their ideas of political correctness. A wise person looks at a situation honestly and thoroughly before making a judgment. I don’t know why the media sees the need to make such judgments at all, but if they’re going to then they should at least make wise judgments. No surprise though :D

  • I know how you feel, but consider this:

It’s consistent with a lot of liberal ways of thinking. The Muslims are seen as an oppressed group, and so now liberals are making every possible concession they can to them. Liberals do this all the time if you think about it. If you ask me, this is another example of liberalism (or progressivism, I’m not good with terms) becoming the dominant way of thinking in schools. Why that’s happening though, is another question. I think the question of “how to fight back” can be answered in many ways though. Public outrage helps.

  • The Tea Party Goes Global

Cool! Australia‘s been ranking high in the Heritage Foundation’s Index of Economic Freedom, now I see why ^__^

  • I don‘t think it’s wise for the Tea Parties to move in the direction of being about an image. I also don‘t think people should really worry about what the media’s going to do, because they’ll criticize either way. It probably is better to not wear costumes, simply because standing up for limited gov’t. is a serious endeavor, not a party (despite the name).

  • Agreed.

  • Oh, c’mon, you know she looks a heck of a lot better than a lot of AMERICAN girls, and there‘s nothin’ wrong with that :)

  • Yes.
