  I live in a city with a population of nearly one million, so my neighborhood is definitely not out in the country. A neighbor two doors down decided that she no longer needed to take her trash out, but rather stockpiled it in her garage. This caused the neighborhood to be over run with rats.

  After calls to rodent control (yes my city has a division for that) and to the “Mayor’s Action Center” where citizens can file concerns, I was given the run around as to how to get the problem solved. One department saying to call the other etc. I came home for lunch one day and found a dead rat in my driveway. I had enough, and double bagging the rat in two Ziploc bags took it to city hall and the mayor’s action center. When I tried to explain my problem to the woman at the desk she again referred me to rodent control. That is when I dropped the bagged rat on her desk, and told her that someone had better do something or I was taking the rat to the local media.

  That afternoon I got a call from rodent control and within 48 ours they had baited the entire neighborhood and ordered the garbage removed from the property two doors down.

  Some times citizens need to stir up the pot to get anything done.

  On an interesting note, shortly after my visit the Action Center was moved to a part of city hall where citizens cannot have access to it.

  Using that perspective, then are you saying that God has the right to break his holy covenant with any group that fails to keep all that He commands? If so, then you are playing right into the hands of Islam. If God can break His holy and eternal covenant with the Jews, then why can’t he break His covenant with Christians? Islam came about during time of apostasy and a rise in the church’s earthly power and influence. The early Roman Catholic Church was not a pillar of sanctity, and using your view of the Jews, God could have sent Mohammad to start over with Islam.

  God’s covenant, both to the Jew and Gentile Christians is a holy and everlasting covenant. Not something that can be tossed into the dustbin at will. God cannot lie, and if He said that this is an eternal and everlasting covenant and then changes His mind, He would be a liar. Please rethink your view of God’s promise not only to the Jew, but to the Gentile.

  The only reason Carson is in Congress is because his grandmother, Congresswoman Julia Carson, died and it was decided by the Democrats in Indianapolis to give him the job as a legacy. He has had close ties to Farrakhan, although he denies being NOI.

The man is continuing his grandmother’s legacy by utilizing the same worn and tired tactics that brought her and kept her in office for years. She even went as far as walking out of a debate (http://www.theindychannel.com/politics/1748963/detail.html) with her opponents because she “couldn’t be in the same room” as them.

  It was a well known fact that Grandma utilized her office as Center Township Trustee to pad her payroll with family and friends, and did not provide the “poor” relief that her office was mandated to provide. She and her grandson are an embarrassment to Indianapolis, and should never have been elected. Unfortunately the district they represent(ed) is primarily poor, African-American and has a lower educational level than the surrounding area. Even when an African-American Republican runs against them they are demonized as being “Uncle Toms” and sell outs. They have played the role of the victim for so long that their core constituents have bought into the lies and keep re-electing the Carsons. Voting for Andre is like voting for Julia.

  2. Neither Letterman or Dick are Jewish, so I doubt they would drink MANISCHEWITZ.

  3. Stern is the only one that is Jewish. Get your facts straight before you spout off, and take time to at least learn to spell names correctly is you are going to perpetuate the stereotype.

  Richard,
  Most innovations/inventions that end up having commercial use and applicability were created by the military or the space program. Things like microwaves, GPS, infrared sensors (ear thermometer), computer aided design, I could go on.

  It takes time for these things to make their way to civilian application, but they do. That was one of the pluses of the space race. It brought huge advancements to society all in the name of beating the Russians. That is why it is such a shame and disgrace that our space program is slowly being phased out. The technological benefits alone would be worth the cost.

  Yes, I know that there are those that say the private sector could make the same advances, but the speed at which some of these technologies were developed took the motivation to beat others to the moon.

  These people, while reprehensible, are quite smart with their tactics. Try and discredit Fox and do it on a day where millions of Americans are drunk and not fully in control of their emotions due to the long weekend and alcohol, and you have the makings of a flash point. Don’t think for a minute that the left is not wanting to start a shooting war between the classes and varied ethnic/racial groups.

  If civil strife breaks out in major cities due to a false report on the death of Obama, it will take DHS and FEMA a hot second to have a declaration of martial law declared, and then see what happens.

  The radical left, like the jihadist that they are trying to embrace, care not one whit for this country and its founding principles. If they can’t destroy America via economic policies and social engineering, then they will try to destroy it through another civil war.

  @ michael8506 – You are dead on correct. Israel has repeatedly said that any “humanitarian aid” would not be stopped provided that, said aid, was screened by the Israeli government. The ONLY purpose of this “Aid Flotilla” is to spark an international incident, and a shooting war.

  If we had ANYONE in Washington with even the slightest bit of testosterone in their system they would tell these people to knock it off. But we don’t! We have cowards in all points of leadership, Dem and GOP. If all hell does break loose, and it will, we will have another undeclared war on our hands. Only question now is who side will we be on.
