  Everybody should re-read this article carefully. This man was murdered plain and simple because he “Gestured” at them with his weapon. This is a clear case of word play, because the word gesture can be interpreted easily to mean pointed his weapon.

  What I want to know is why some LEO’s in general have become such cowards as to shoot first like this then think, rather than think first before shooting. I wonder if they realize that when you choose to put on the uniform of a “Peace” Officer, you accept the possibility that you may lose your life as you “Protect and Serve” your community. Gone are the days when LEO’s used common sense to minimize the use of violence. This is a travesty!!!

  The excuse that they were merely reacting because of the nature of the charges in the warrant to protect themselves is as cowardly as it gets. If a person takes the Oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States, as all LEO’s do, then it is there RESPONSIBILITY to learn and comprehend what civil liberties the Constitution and the Bill of Rights guarantee the citizens of this country. Then their job is to UPHOLD and protect these rights even at the expense of their very lives, NOT cower behind their superior firepower, because they have assumed the worst.

  Sadly enough, this is evidence that Racism is rampant in America, however it is in the reverse. That is if you see this world in racial terms.

  When will this world wake up an realize there is only ONE RACE!!!! That is the HUMAN RACE!!! Everything else is just ethnicity, and honor and beauty can be found in them all, as well as the ugliness of hatred.

  Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) was way out of line, and the gentleman who asked his question showed honorable restraint.

  This guy forgets his true place in the scheme of things!!!

  He forgets just who it is he really is working for in Washington, and he was asked to explain himself by one of his many his employers. This man has forgotten that he was elected to represent the mind and will of those in his district, not to represent his own sentiments. The contempt this so-called servant of the people showed to his constituent IS the problem with this country and why it is faltering so terribly.

  When elected representatives start to believe that they no better than those who elected them, that is the beginning of the road to Tyranny!!! And from where I stand, we have been on that road for way too long!

  Well Mr. Moore. I certainly hope your willing to practice what you preach and pay higher taxes on your BIG Bucks too.

  By the way, it is not OUR MONEY! It is the Private Bank of the Federal Reserve’s money! And they lend it to the Federal Government and the banks with interest. Who in turn loan it to the people for whatever also with interest. Our Employer also takes that same money and pays us with it, which we then pay taxes on to the Government so they can make the interest payments to the Federal Reserve on the money they borrowed illegally in the first place.

  It’s a vicious circle and we are all stuck in it. Sadly, the only way out of this vicious circle now will be painful and messy for everybody.

  When the fiat currency we use now fails, our best hope is for those in congress to re-take their right to back and print currency. They would have to ensure it is backed by tangible value such as precious metals. But hey, what do I know?

  IMHO – The Federal Reserve is guilty of counterfeit and should be abolished for it. Then those in congress who refuse to retake that right to coin money and mange the value thereof should be summarily dismissed from their office and replaced by vote of course with those who will.

  Some say that organized religion is the opiate of the masses. This is a lie!
  To know and have a personal relationship the the Lord is to comprehend what freedom is. The more I understand morality through personal study of the scriptures, the more the I am encouraged by the “Light of Christ” within me to live by those principles, and the less willing I become to live under the chains of Tyranny. This was the great fear of the Catholic Church in it’s early years which is why they burned those who dared translate the bible from Latin to English. This to me is evidence that…“Old Habits Die Hard” I guess.

  These teachers need to re-learn their English. The sentence says specifically “…establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity…”

  There is a big difference between the meanings of the words, “Provide”, and “Promote”. If you read carefully and look up the definitions, then his means that the only thing the Federal Government is to provide is the “Common Defense” of the Country, but to “Promote General Welfare” is to advocate or encourage citizens to improve their situation by exercising their freedom to make their own success and prosperity in this country. In no way does it mean that the Federal Gov. is to ‘Provide” for anybody! (Of course you have to look these words up in a dictionary from the 1800′s to learn this.)

  This is the concept of Freedom that is lost. Who ever said that “Freedom” in this country was supposed to be SAFE?!!!

  Freedom required the 2nd amendment because with freedom comes the exercise of either noble and virtuous morality, or moral turpitude.

  The problem with the New START Treaty is that it assumes that both sides will keep their end of the deal.

  Can anyone tell me anything about Russia’s history, even recent history since the collapse of the USSR regime, that suggests that Russia will really keep their end of the bargain?

  They only need to dismantle their old and antiquated warheads to look like they’ve kept their end of the bargain. But what about those warheads in Russia we do not know about?

  After all, these things as a matter of national security on both sides have always been kept TOP SECRET. For that reason, the data that has been divulged is by nature suspect as to how accurate it actually is, on both sides.
